Only tried about 5 items on the menu, the chips are fresh chippy chips and the fish is also of the fresh variety not frozen. Food is heavy on seasoning, salt/msg. You will get thirsty after a full on meal for sure. Fish dishes here are a stand out because they use fresh cod, so good texture and big chunky pieces. Sweet n sour fish I would say is one of the best around but other sauces are good too but I would ask for less seasoning. Their salt n pepper chips however I feel are under seasoned but there is plenty of onion/chilli, more than average. They do lunch deals which seem good. I would say their general portion sizes are big. Value is good, they are normally very busy and you will need to queue. Me and my husband have come here regularly for years, however on the last two occasions the price charged and the price on the board do not add up. I understand everything has gone up in April, however the price on the board instore and the prices on Just eat are different to the price they charge when you order at the counter. The first time we had brushed it off as we had customised our order, the second time I calculated the price on the board before reaching the till yet the lady asked for £2.00 more. The shop was too busy at this point for me to make a fuss so I decided to check Just eat and see what the prices were and sure enough I had been over charged. As this has now happened twice I feel they may be over chargeing on purpose. The food however is okay as I have only ever ordered chippy items...
