05/08/23 This is the best Chinese around! I probably order from here once a week, we have a Friday night takeaway and this is where we go! We tend to like variety with our takeaways but we just keep coming back here! The prices have gone up slightly but no where near as much as other places. And it's completely understandable with the cost of living at the moment. Honestly if your on the fence about ordering from here, I say DO IT!! The food is amazing and the staff are absolutely amazing. So friendly, the driver is always lovely, food always arrives in great time. Portions are large.. I was craving for beef fried rice noodle, I asked the staff but they do not have rice noodle, so I decided to order a main dish instead because I wanted to eat roast duck too. I choose “Kung po” sauce for my roast duck because I like the spicy, salty flavour of Kung po. When I saw the color I was questioning and think “it is not Kung po sauce at all” because it’s too orange. I was really disappointed after my first bite, it is sweet and sour sauce with a bit chili paste flavour, it is nothing like Kung po sauce at all. My conclusion is most of the Asian restaurants in western countries are serving something that is not authentic because nobody knows what the origin taste suppose to be, and try to adjust the flavour to suit the locals. Got the house special platter. For delivery. Very impressed. Honestly, for £25 (including delivery fee) the value is insane. Easily enough to feed 3. Food came very fast with a friendly delivery driver. Also, the food was hot and stayed hot for a long time, it’s all packaged very well. Additional free prawn crackers are always a nice touch (with sweet and sour sauce too).

The variety is excellent, every dish was delicious and well portioned. All packed good flavour without being overly greasy, everything tasted fresh.
