thank you for your reply… in fact the dog poo was there for 2 hours after i raised the issue. customers stood in it and had to go home to change their shoes…. you miraculously ‘disappeared’ when we wanted to talk to you and you left it with very junior staff…you did not move your car!…. but we will return as its a nice pub and maybe this was just an unfortunate error on your part… i think you should have come to discuss it yourself and apologise to us and the other customers who were also...

Sought out a local pub to avoid the typical chain hotel offering prior to flying. This pub came up on the search and is every bit as good as the reviews. The food is excellent and inexpensive. Hubby's gammon egg and chips was awesome and the fish & chips is huge with crispy batter and triple cooked chips. The staff are friendly and eddicient. Definitely worth the 5 minutes drive...

We stopped here on a Monday evening, 20th Jan as we were looking for some dinner. Really glad we found this pub as the food is excellent. I had sausages with bubble and squeak which was really tasty, my partner had a grilled salmon fillet which was also excellent. Both were generous portions and good value for money.
