The Margos — Restaurant in Uttlesford

Unprofessional, treat people differently and they can’t hold themselves accountable to their mistakes. I posted this review on their fb page and instead of an apology like everyone seems to have gotten, I get abuse.

“Not the type to complain but I was disappointed with the service. Food ordered at 18:10, arrived 90 mins later plus they’d messed up one of the orders. Upon request for a refund for the item of food, they said it’ll be there ASAP...the following day we’re still having to chase up our money. The spicy pizza with “peri peri and tomato base” was just a tomato base and the pizza had 0 spice in it at all. Never again. Sticking to Flames!“

I ordered food at 8 pm this evening, food arrived at 10pm. I'm so very disappointed, upon ordering food was told to be delivered within 45 min to a hour, as it took 2 hours to arrive I had phoned a few times to see where the food was? There was many of excuses, and when the food finally arrived it was cold/Luke warm,I feel sick and the food was bland, disgusting. I've never experienced such poor quality of food, or customer service in my lifetime. When I finally got through to the takeaway service I was only given yet more excuses and 25% off my next order. Ordered for the first time today. Food arrived in good time and piping hot! I ordered two pizzas (Mediterranean With sweetcorn and pepperoni and Hawaiian), bbq chicken wings and the Margos special burger. The pizza is what you’d expect from an American pan and is decent however the Mediterranean didn’t have any tomato sauce on the base which was disappointing after several slices I ended up nicking my fiancée slices as they tasted better and had tomato base.
