I am disgusted by the service I received here at burger king today. I was waiting at the window for about 5 minutes before someone even thought to speak to me. The assistant manager (Sarah) came over and looked at me then went to grab the card machine. I intervened and made her aware I have a blue light card. She rolled her eyes and sighed. Then passed me the card machine and told me the amount. Then proceeded to walk away to grab my drink. She failed to listen to instructions of not having ice in the drink, or even giving me a straw.
A young colleague of hers was clearly speaking to a customer at the intercom, which I had no problem about given I worked in fast food for some time. She then decided to interrupt him and practically push him off the till to complete my order. Then told him in the most disrespectful way that she was more important. She said “move I need to do this” He stated he was dealing with a customer and she said “i don’t care, let me use the till” which is absolutely disgusting.
She made no attempt to speak to me, smile or offer me any form of good customer service.
I am absolutely disgusted with the service I received this evening. I believe that the management of this restaurant should really look into who their staff are.
On an alternative hand I visited the restaurant a couple of weeks back where I was greeted by an amazing young lady who I believe was called kasie. She demonstrated exceptional customer service, greeted me with a smile, asked how I was before getting my food. This young lady demonstrates how staff should treat customers. Ordering food out is stressful enough for me as I have ceoliac disease meaning I have to explain every single time to someone what I can and can't have in order to ensure I don't become severely ill. Add the pressure of your partner already having her meal and nearly eating it all whilst mine hasn't even gone through the till as their app / till system isn't a good one!
I ended up leaving BK without any food and back home to make myself some food....
Burger king doesn't offer much in the way of gluten free anyway.... other restaurants offer so much more choice and have better app / till systems in place to ensure orders go through smoothly.

Completed a food Hudson course many years ago and sure you supposed to wear hair nets in food prep area….but apparently not! Even if you have an almost foot long pony tail - you’re free to flick it around without a care!
Food is as decidedly average - pretty bland and barely warm…. Just about edible.
Would like to make a special mention to the store cleaning team….especially as they appeared to have the day off and looks like everyone else was happy leave it till the next day for tidying the customer seating area...
