WOW!!!! Searching for somewhere that does Gluten Free can often seem like an absolute headache. We saw how many people were eating at Bistro in the Bay and decided to have an impromptu lunch. We ordered two lots of loaded fries - one with chilli and one with Tandoori chicken (thinking they would be smallish bowls). Our kids ordered the burgers. When the food came out it was HUGE. Two big silver platters filled with chips and toppings and two good sized burgers. I have a healthy appetite, but I struggled finishing mine. The only very slight point was both my kids (15+18) said the burgers were not fantastic. Perhaps a rethink on burger suppliers may be something to consider just to make the experience even better? That said, we are going back again on our last day of the holiday to have some more loaded fries 😋. I awarded 5 stars on everything purely based on the overall experience, and not just a minor point on the burgers

This is our second visit when we are down visiting family. They do not disappoint. Two full fried breakfasts with a brew each £17 incredibly reasonable. The food is cooked fresh and piping hot. The staff are incredibly friendly and helped us pay for car parking when all the machines were broken. Spectacular views of the sea. Spotless. Perfect little gem with a stunning beach for either a pre or post food walk.

One of the best English breakfasts I've ever had (and I've had a few in my time). To make it perfect would only require grilled quality sausages and not deep fried ones. Only surprise was being charged £3.30 for a small pot of regular tea! Surely a PG tips tea bag, water and a splash of milk doesn't require a ground coffee cappuccino type price? Otherwise great breakfast, service and location.

My husband and I brought my disabled mother in law here this morning. We went to a table that seated 3 people in the corner of the restaurant, in order to do this I had to reposition a chair from another table (table for 2) so that mother in law could get through using her Zimmer frame. No help was offered or even a welcome by any of the staff! We then settled to look at the menu. I did not put the chair back in the same place, to be honest I forgot but we would have needed to get out at some point anyway. A couple walked in and sat at the table for 2 using the chairs as I had left them. All 3 of us heard a staff member asking this couple to move the chair back. This couple quite rightly said that it was there when they came in, to which this person said very loudly and pointed out that we had moved the chair to get in and she needed room to get around. She said this quite loudly and made us feel awful as we were in direct earshot. She put us on display to the whole restaurant. She highlighted my mother in law and her disability. She had no respect or compassion at all. This woman whose name I don't know as she did not have a badge on has short blonde bobbed hair, wearing a navy vest top and beige shorts. Oh and a rather large blob of white ointment hanging off her left arm just waiting to drop off into someone's food! Despite this we still ordered off the menu. My strawberry milkshake which cost £5 was warm. I would ordinarily have sent the milkshake back but couldn't be bothered as enough eyes had been on us as it was. The tea plate with a cake was dirty and the table which we were sat at was severely wobbly. The beige shorts woman seemed to be quite happy and chatty to the other customers that came in with dogs and babies. I take from this that all people and animals are welcome unless you are disabled! I gave 1 star for the food because the can of coke was lovely. I gave 1star for the service because the young girl at the till was amazing. I gave 0 star for atmosphere for obvious reasons. We will never return...

We had a beautiful meal here on Sunday. There's something so special about watching the sea. Communication with the social media person was great, really helpful. We all enjoyed our food, mainly burgers and specials which were all so fresh and tasty. The rustic fries were particularly great. The milkshakes were slightly disappointing for £5 a time, but everything else was absolutely amazing. We would definitely return! Thanks for having us and being so welcoming to a large family with lots of...
