Very poor service, Food, and customer skills.

1 star is for history of pendine inside the shop. 1 star is for tea and fry up.

food, below standard do not have anything other than a fry up.... which is ok, sandwiches are dreadfull we all waisted 90 % of the food and nobody asked was that ok for you or was there a problem with your food, the answere would have been yes... stale/hard bread, fillings ie chilli chicken was rank...! Basically cheep sweet chill source over pre cooked chunks of rubber chicken in hard stale bread and wilted salad. Chips were narley cooked and rank ...! Even the kids waisted 90% so you know just how bad they were staff are assumptive and bolshy if you ask for anything that isn't exactly on the menu and they make you feel like your really putting them out.. almost like your offending them just buy asking simple questions so you arrive at something near the thing you think you might want from there limited menu.. shouting from the front of the cafe to the kitchen each enquiry.. I must add this was not busy I was the only one inside the cafe and outside only a couple of people were Sat down eating.. In short customer service is key don't get complacent just because you have a holiday park on your doorstep with reems of customers who just fall in your lap.... we are on holiday we expect better service, patience but mainly much better food. AVIOD, AVIOD, AVIOD IF you want service standards and food that tastes good....! Also I asume by the annoyance of the workers that they were the owners of the cafe .? totally unaproachable thus this review.

They will probably read this and just be annoyed But any true business would take it on board and change..! For every one person who takes the time to write a review good or bad there are a hundred more who can't be...

There are some people commenting here who feel "entitled" to abuse Kelvin and Trudy for the service they work very hard to provide. This is a small family run business who strive to provide excellent service and food at all times, if you want food over the counter in minutes then go to McD's !! All the food served here is freshly prepared and cooked to order, some times this may take a little longer (especially at busy times) . Having been a "local" customer here for 10+ years I have never felt let down or been dissatisfied with the service and food supplied. Really disappointed with the service we received this morning. It was the last day of our holiday and we waited half an hour before I asked how long our breakfast would be. We had received tea and toast which was cold before our breakfast arrived. After asking how long our breakfast would be a lady approached our table with a really rude manner no apology and said “I’ve just checked and you came in half an hour ago and there were people before you! “If she had said sorry for the wait and offered a fresh pot of tea that would have been fine but she was extremely rude.
