We were here for the Hot rods and chose The point cafe for its lovely views at the end of the beach. It was empty but we sat down and ordered 5 cooked breakfasts. Sadly the young lad that served us tea spilt most of the tea in the saucers and tray. Rather dubious bits were floating in the milk jug too. No issue but clearly asking for some napkins was a bit too much inconvenience. He then took the full saucer and walked back with it at a 45 degree angle and spilt it all over the floor. All rather amusing but on a serious note the breakfast was poor quality although did come quickly. The toast we were served was mouldy. We advised the cook quietly as there were other customers around and we understand mistakes are made. He totally ignored us, charged us and then started furiously throwing the rest of the loaves of bread in the bin which were all mouldy. No apology, just rude and dismissive.
