On Thursday we called to book a table of 5 for the following day at 6pm, took our details, even called us back to confirm the reservation with us. Turned up Friday at 5:55pm to be told that they can't sit us as people had booked before for us weeks ago at 6pm and they would be sitting those first when they arrived, meaning no space for us, explained to them that we had a booking and we even showed them where on their own sheet our booking was, but they refused to sit us, myself, my wife, my parents and our 3 year old. There were still tables empty but the lady kept saying that people had booked before us. She even told us that we should've came at 5 and they would've been able to sit us. How we were supposed to have known this I don't know. Turned us away and we had to go source some food elsewhere on our final day of holiday. Unbelievably poor service from them and there's no way I'd ever try to book there again.

Edit 3.7.25 20:38 In response, at no point did anybody in my party refuse our seats, or request a window seat, this is a lie, in which I feel you have told to try and avoid taking responsibility. We came in, gave our name to a gentleman who started to walk towards the seating area, a lady then stopped him and us and told us we couldn't be seated, then what unfolded is as I...

Only recently found out about this restaurant from friends despite passing through Pendine heading further west on many occasions! Decided to book a midweek dinner to see what all the hype was about! Waw, what a setting! Fabulous vantage point and we were lucky enough to have a front window table. Views out to sea are spectacular! Opted to share a 1/4 crispy aromatic duck to start which was bang on point. Succulent, juicy pieces of duck, accompanied by the usual array of warm pancakes, cucumber, spring onions and hoi sin sauce. Very satisfying. For the main course, we opted for the king prawn chow mein requested dry, special chow mein, egg fried rice and a portion of chips. The stand out element consistent with all the food was how 'fresh' it all tasted. Packed full of flavour, it was literally faultless! A couple of pints of refreshing lager shandy completed the meal. The owner took the time and courtesy to speak with us which was a nice touch. Prices were really quite reasonable considering the quality of the food along with the very impressive setting. All in all, I'm struggling to understand how this restaurant has existed for 7 years and it's only recently I got to know about it! Better late than never! Looking forward to returning in the very near...

Hidden Gem 💎❤️ Looked for a Chinese restaurant which catered for gluten free options in a group of seven. Location is slightly set back off main road overlooking the beach and the vantage point is what sets this restaurant apart from others the view is amazing from all of the restaurant overlooking the ocean we sat watching the sun go down as the tide came in. We had not prebooked (which I recommend as this place is popular) we were told we could be accommodated in 30 minutes. This was fine for a stroll and returned at the appointed time. Great selection of food with set menu meal offers for groups of two or more. Free prawn crackers accompanied our food. The food is delicious with clean flavours. We tried set menus and was not disappointed. We loved all of the food and no doubt will return ❤️. One suggestion is to have a billboard advertising the restaurant on the main road with a direction sign as driving or walking through on the main road you do not know...
