What a terrible experience! The service what service? No service with a smile The staff were to busy watching the football and drinking by the bar, secondly the boy who brought our food over was running with our food (so he didn't miss the football) so fast that some of the chips and peas come flying off the plate he then took our food to the wrong table again he was more concerned in watching the tv, my order which was a sirloin steak cooked to medium come small chewy and it was actually rare with loads of blood , my sister who ordered a medium rump well it was disgusting it was still 'moo'ing on her plate it was the worst piece of steak Iv ever seen it looked like it was still on the shelf in a supermarket and to top it off the girl come over whilst we were eating our chips started cleaning up our table and taking away the sauces absolutely disgusting, how rude, Not once did anyone come up and ask us was everything okay with our meals! To think there's millions out of work and you got the likes of your staff taking up jobs and providing this terrible service! Disgusting! Never will I recommend this place to anyone I'd recommend McDonald's before this disastrous place, never forget that the customers pay your wages because your staff...
Read moreWe popped in this evening (9/12/19) and were warmly greeted by Liam on arrival. We found a quiet table near the back of the tavern and selected or meals. 1st thing worth noting is that Mondays before 5pm it's 50% off so our meals and 2 pints of Coke zero came to only £13.40 (this included a £2 charge to go large on the scampi)

My thanks go to Amy who was our cook tonight, who did a fantastic job, the scampi had just the right amount of crunch and the chips were light and fluffy. I would recommend going large on the scampi for the extra £2 to take you scampi from 9 pieces to 20 is that good (wholetail not formed). When next in Cardiff we shall certainly return.
The restaurant was nice and clean, disabled toilet facilities were excellent (Radar...

As any parent will know, planning for your daughter’s 18th Birthday party is not an easy task but with our daughter also having Learning Difficulties it was essential that we could provide her and her friends with the type of party that she wanted, but also in a safe environment.
After talking with Richard & Ceri Ann about how we would like the evening to go they were more than happy take care of everything and reassured us that the party was being left in safe, capable hands.
So as the title states ‘WOW!!!’ From transforming your pub, to supplying and preparing the food, we do not know how you managed it, but thanks again to both of you and all the staff who made the night a very...
