On my way up North, and to reach the National Express bus stop, I walked through the hell of a hot, crowded and dirty city. I found the shade and a lovely bench in the garden very welcoming and safe, I wanted to stay there... 🐻
🌊Later on, I had to cross the river to reach my destination - so many obstacles! It did not discourage me, but rather made me even more determined. So glad this beautiful bridge is here - its strong pillars helping to cross the messy flow of the river. Thanks to this bridge I could finally reach my destination, rest and relax.

Read moreWhen I first came to Cardiff to live 4 years ago, I couldn't believe it when we pulled into the city's central bus station, which is in, of all places, a beautiful park called Sophia Gardens, which is in turn part of a very large park straddling the River Taff called Bute Park, stretching all the way from the castle grounds to a national sports arena and beyond, and includes playing fields, wild areas, an arboretum, picnic areas, the swift-flowing River Taff, and of course the Victorian formality of Sophia Gardens, with its beautiful perennial flower borders alongside a wide promenade, teashops and an arched footbridge over the Taff with a view downiver of the Principality Stadium.
