Read moreLovely quiet place of contemplation. Next to where I work so visit regularly to sit and have a coffee on one of the numerous benches. A few things spoil it unfortunately. Students can be noisy and aren't fussy about leaving litter behind. Homeless use it as somewhere to sleep so benches are surrounded by litter and cigarette ends. Worst is that the place has a terrible rodent problem. You will usually hear the rats rustling in the undergrowth before you see them, but spend any time there and see them you will.
