Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

I came with a friend to have a coffee after the school run. I expected it to be quite busy but it was very quiet, which was nice. The tables were all clear and everything looked clean. The staff were very friendly making recommendations on coffee. I had to go and ask for napkins as there wasn't any placed out but this was not an issue and staff gave them with a smile. Coffee was lovely and my friend enjoyed theirs also. Toilets were clean. Admittedly it was first thing in the morning so I will review again at a later time in the day. The staff were talking about how the food is being taken over by M&S. We walked so didn't have an issue with parking but you can either park across the road in the Rotary Car Park, or in Waitrose. Sunday afternoon. Coffee was given in take away cups an hour and fifteen prior to closing. One of the mochas was awful. So strong. No hot food as fridge was closed with a cover. Young girl by the name of Megan was sweeping around customers whilst they were trying to enjoy their coffee and cake. She mentioned she couldn’t sweep as customers were still present , this was 20 mins to closing. An elderly gentleman asked for a coffee 15 minutes before closing time and was refused. Not quite as well looked after as other branches though; slightly lax on the table clearance front in my personal experience (though not a very frequent customer it must be said, so may be down to bad timing).
