Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Called at Monmouth Costa this lunchtime. There was a short queue but there were limited tables inside and an empty table outside the door. I had left a valuable ebike outside, so asked the male behind the counter if I could order my meal and sit at the outside table. My toasted sandwich and iced coffee arrived and I expected a reduction in view of the Chancellors Eat Out and Save plan, this being Monday 3rd August. I was charged full price. I asked why I was not being afforded the Eat Out and Save option, and the female cashier was very dismissive and said You didnt say you were eating in. Its not my fault. It doesnt apply to takeaways. I said, I had already spoken to your colleague and said I was sitting on your outside seats. She would not budge and was quite dismissive and unhelpful.

Greeted by wonderful staff, extremely friendly and welcoming . The quality of food and coffee was great too Not overly busy, got our food and drinks very quickly. Disabled access here is good as there is an open wide seating area that is easy to navigate. I honestly can find no fault with this Costa, it's very clean with a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
