Pasty Heaven — Restaurant in Wales

What a truly superb little shop with outstanding pasties and great choice. Saw the sign whilst walking along the high street and went to investigate as didn't fancy the traditional sandwich for lunch. Went in and got a pasty and it's up there with the best pasties I have tasted in a long time. There is a superb selection available ranging from the traditional pasty in different sizes (small to giant) to pork and apple or full English pasty. There are different meat pasties as well as vegetarian options so you will be spoilt for choice and sure to find something for your taste buds.

You can also choose from a great little selection of cakes and muffins as well as a choice of cold and warm drinks. There is seating available inside and outside so you have a choice depending on what mood you are in. They offer pasties to take away as well and you can take them away frozen and cooked fresh at home.

I am so glad I stumbled on this Cafe while on my Road trip from Cardiff to York. The pastries were heavenly in taste and my fav was black pudding made by the owner.

Best part of the meal was the owners or as me and my gf quoted "Dream Family".

This review is a year late, but better late than never. We stopped here last September on our way through Monmouth and were so glad to find this special place.

As Australians, this was our first experience of Cornish Pasties, and they were easily the best we had during our time in the UK.

The owner was polite and friendly, and joked around with our children.
