I'm always willing to give a new business or restaurant a chance to woo me away from my default choice and I'm so glad that I took the risk here. I was driving in the area and saw it pop up as a point of interest on my Sat Nav. I can't ever resist a curry and so made my way inside to order a takeaway. The restaurant smelt delicious and the staff were very welcoming. I ordered the Garlic Chicken Street Curry and Pilau rice. It was served promptly but with enough time for me to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant. The staff seemed genuinely happy and were very attentive to the people eating in there. The food was absolutely delicious! A lot of flavours coming through, and not just the garlic which can easily overpower the more subtle spices in a dish. I was surprised at the amount of Chicken I received - there was absolutely loads in my portion. The rice was fragrant and fluffy. Portions are a good size and I'd like to say that I restrained myself and only ate a reasonable amount of it in one go, leaving the rest for the next day. But I can't say that at all - I couldn't resist finishing it off despite feeling really full. I'll definitely be back when I'm next in the area - well done guys. I wish you...

Read moreWe love Indian food and frequent many Indian and Asian restaurants. The only food here that was remotely tasty was the popadums and dips. The starters were only mildly warm and really quite tasteless. The main course that we ordered was lamb and to be honest, the meat was tuff, it was like chewing leather. It wasn’t over cooked, so the only reason for it to be so tuff was that it wasn’t lamb but an older sheep that was used, basically, a cheap lamb alternative. The overall quality of the food was really very poor and lacked any sort of decent spice or taste. The service was very poor too, when we paid and left, the table still hadn’t been cleared. Our bill was just short of £100.00 and for a meal and service like that, I felt ripped off. We will never go there again, far better...
