We first visited 2 years ago and loved the food, atmosphere and Becky so much we have made it our goal to return. We felt so safe in the shop with social distancing strictly applied. We had a salad with beautiful potatoes, coleslaw, hummus and falafel. Coffee was also delicious. What really sets Crowes apart from any other place is the love that Becky puts into her food. You are always certain of a warm, homely welcome and the food served is like receiving a warm hug. I wish we lived closer, we would happily eat here everyday. Tucked away on Black Lion Mews, Becky prides herself with home baked food, pies, quiche and cakes to die for.
We tried the healthy cheese quiche, potato salad in mustard dressing, with broccoli, freshly cooked beetroot and olive salad, followed by a lemon and courgette sponge, covered in mascarpone elderflower icing and rose petals... quite frankly as unique a lunch as we have ever experienced! And the freshly brewed coffee, was bright and aromatic.
This café is something else, frequented by locals and tourists and Becky certainly knows how to look after...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this hidden gem purely by chance and gosh, what a find! Crowes is the sort of place where you come as a guest and (reluctantly) leave as a friend. Becky, the owner, is the loveliest, friendliest, most welcoming person ever. The cafe is tiny but very cute and cosy, and you can watch the live action of the food being prepared whilst chatting to Becky about literally anything and everything. And the food itself is to die for; everything freshly made with a lot of added love and care. It is an absolute must if you’re ever in Cardigan. A genuine place that will fill up not only your belly, but also your heart and soul....
