First Call Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Hello, I wanted to share some important feedback regarding my recent visit. I have always enjoyed coming to your coffee shop in the past, but my most recent experience was very disappointing. I overheard staff gossiping about customers, based on speculation and hearsay without any factual basis. This kind of behavior creates a negative and uncomfortable environment for customers.

I visit to enjoy my coffee in a relaxed atmosphere not to sit in a setting where gossiping is taking place. If someone has something to say to me, I believe it should be done in a mature and respectful manner, not behind someone’s back. While I understand we live in a society where freedom of speech exists, discussing someone without due care not only reflects badly on the individuals involved but also on the reputation of your business.

That said, I want to acknowledge that the coffee shop has been an enjoyable experience from the very beginning, when this type of gossip did not exist. Please understand this is not about seeking personal validation. My intention is to provide constructive feedback so that future customers can enjoy the same high standards of professionalism that made this coffee shop such a great place in the past.

I popped in for a quick coffee as I had time to kill before the school run, it was also nice to get in out of he heat.

I wanted to revisit as my last time here was not such a positive experience, so I wanted to see if this time would be different.

It was fairly busy and noisy as I arrived but the staff dearth with the queue of people very quickly and efficiently.

Coffee tasted great (decade flat white) there was some relaxing background jazz playing so the ambiance was relaxing. The noise of the sudden rush of customers settled down as well.

I sat got some work done on the iPad and relaxed, went very chilled before leaving for the madness of the school run.

Fab coffee, great service, lovely atmosphere, this experience was hundred percent better Han the last time....

My first time coming here, recommend by a friend. Can’t recommend enough, the service was amazing and the two people working couldn’t apologise enough for the wait but in my opinion there wasn’t one, maybe 10 minutes total wait, just because they had a rush. Lovely atmosphere and lovely people.

We ordered a salmon, avocado and Brie wrap, ham and cheese toastie and two cappuccinos, one large and one regular. We forgot to get sugar for the coffee and it wasn’t an issue at all they were so nicely made, and it’s a really tasty roast. The total for the order was only £15.70!
