Came on the 31st March for my daughters 15th birthday.. along with her 17year old sister(autistic).. and 4 year old brother... spoke to the lady on the desk before hand that my autistic daughter has some sensory issues when it comes to socks and shoes.. was told as long as she had socks on it would be fine and some sort of shoe on the hard course..also would be fine..thanked her for all her help and moved on... spent 20 mins with my daughter while she tried her best to get over the issue with the socks..she couldn't bare to wear the ones I bought and wore her own fluffy ones.. did manage to get her to wear trainers so massive achievement for us both... had some fun..got to the soft area.. took shoes off.. all had socks on..she had her own ones on...me and her sister jumped through a hole thing and fell to the floor laughing... other daughter was behind me crying her eyes out and having a major meltdown chewing her fingers...and could see a staff member next to her...I abruptly asked him what had he said to her.. he said oh she can't wear those socks in here.. he had a walkie in his hand.. I said I spoke to the lady at the desk and all was OK.. and had to tell him infront of her that's she's autistic..we've known for about 2 years but she only got officially diagnosed 3 weeks before this..so it's still a sore subject to talk about it around her.. he said OK and walked off.. she had to come off the course as she was In such a state..sat down next to the course on the bench for 20mins.. he the come back and knelt down like she was a toddler..said his name apologised for upsetting her and offerd her water.. I think some staff could do with some valuable training..all the rest of us had the socks on .. should have maybe asked her where's your family or something and then asked me..he had a walkie in his hand.. could have asked the desk is there a reason one person got their own socks on... I could tell by his face he was instantly sorry.. but it completely ruined the day for my both my daughters and it was a birthday...
Read moreTHE NINJA WARRIER POLICY HAS BEEN CHANGED, I've taken my two children almost 10 occasions over the past eighteen months and this time I was asked to pay as a visiting spectator which I refused as I dont agree to paying £15.00 as an adult spectator, its a ridiculous policy paying to watch my 8yo daughter and 5yo son happily playing on the equipment totally not worth the extra cost. The new policy is that all under 8s must have an adult supervising them at all times" means thst I was expected to pay full adult price to just be a spectator for the two hours that I had booked its ridiculous to pay the extra £15.00 price just for the entrance according to their new rules (Its not so easy to notice about the change of policy on the website). I am in my mid 60s and expected to pay full adult price £15.00 to sit and watch my children on the equipment, although I am expected to climb up through the equipment and over the equipment at my age I am riddled with arthritis and can barely walk only managing to walk with a limp so I'm hardly able to climb let alone jump or bounce on the equipment, I was told that its company policy that I must be able to climb up on the bounce castle. I don't agree with their revised company policy and I was informed that despite the new policy I was not entitled to a refund for cancelling as I must cancel my booking 24 hours prior to my my day of arrival, despite my severe arthritis in both my legs, but they are adamant (The company must be losing lots of money another con for adults to pay extra), I suggest taking your children up to Flashpoint a short walk away from Ninja Warrier, both my son and daughter said that they was much happier than if they had gone to Ninja Warrier, they were able to enjoy themselves without their dad having to pay full adult price just to sit and watch them having loads of fun, always fully supervised from qualified skilled support teams at...
Read moreBooked a party for my nephew and it was so easy I managed to phone them but also contacted them another time through Facebook. The party food was so good and well organized, the socks as well worth it as they are a breathable material and have grips on the base. It would be good to be able to use cash but no problem otherwise. the only Minor complaint would be that we were told that someone would ring us back the day before the party to check for any dietary needs, but luckily we did not have any. The BEST part was the guide that stayed with our party at all times his name was Harry and he even took time to play with the kids in the party as they still had energy after their session had ended, He was Very helpful, he was quick responding to my nephew bumping his head. Being this was Harry's first group party sine joining the Ninja Warrior team he did an Excellent job. Thanks Harry you and the experience...
