Inmas Continental Stores — Restaurant in Wales

Went to get a steak sandwich with mayo & salad. Always had lovely food here before but not been there for some time. The sandwich was approximately £5.50 or £5.80 with mayo & salad. I went for mayo & salad. The lady behind the counter asked what salad I wanted. She pointed to tomato, white onion & lettuce. I asked if that was all they had - she then pointed to the display case which had things like lasagne etc & some other salad items behind. I asked for cucumber, tomato & lettuce. When I went to pay she then said it was over £6.00. I pointed to the sign which said £5.80. She said 'you had an extra item from the counter'. I said that she had not indicated a couple of bits of cucumber would be extra. She then started going on about how it's only a little bit extra & how it would be nothing to her. She was really rude & totally failed to understand that I would have happily paid if I was forewarned. I was going to take the sandwich but as she had no change of a £20 I left her to it. I really miss the lovely lady who used to own this shop. Absolutely would not recommend. I would also point out that you can buy most of her cakes from Costco for almost as much as she charges for a couple of slices! Can't rate the food as I didn't taste it Shop was empty (wonder why? ) so...

Not the best, this was recommended by a friend who is a regular. My mum had a garlic chicken and mayo baguette; she said it didn't taste like garlic, the chicken was heated in a microwave, and the baguette fell apart. I had a cheese and onion baguette; which I did enjoy, I believe they need to use fresher cheese! And cover the onions over when not being used. The male who served me also forgot half of my order, and gave me just a cheese baguette which I then had to prompt him to put the onions in. The price was cheap, but I'm not so sure I'll be visiting again...

It’s a shame because this place used to be Amazing, however the price has gone up( which is fine) but the food quality has gone down and it’s NOTICEABLE. Garlic chicken now cheaper chicken, no flavour and burnt coating. The last 2 times I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but it just seems to be the norm Now, so won’t be returning which is a shame because been coming...
