Took my little girl into here when she was a baby, about 1.4 years old. She was in a highchair. Me and my mum were told she couldn’t sit too close to us because she would “mark the table with the highchair”…OK! Anyway food came, we gave her a chip which she was happily chewing, she dropped half of the chip on the floor, was about to pick it up and a female worker (Aylish) came along and was tutting at us and making comments to another female worker claiming we had no respect. They were sweeping under our feet and were just utter rude, we hadn’t even finished our meal before it was taken from under our nose. We left after paying. Shouldn’t have really seeing as they took our food before we’d finished. I didn’t go there for a few years because of them being like that towards my child. It was very sad to see her being treated like that. Then this morning I thought I’ll give them a go, seeing as they’re the only place that do pancakes, Nutella and strawberries, maybe they’ve changed their attitude but no. We ordered over food hub, they declined the order after half an hour, I phoned up to see what was going on to be hung up on, phoned back the lady on the phone wouldn’t let you get a word in edge ways “hello hello” over you when you spoke, utter rude. Asked me about 4 or 5 times what did I order again because she clearly couldn’t be bothered to listen. Finally got the order after almost 2 hours. I think they need to hire someone who knows what they’re doing because the call handler clearly doesn’t. Very stressful, paid £32 to be told “are you sure you paid for it” Yes it’s on my bank statement!! Also sent wrong items out, will not be ordering from here again or even...

I ordered the scampi, chips and peas via the FoodHub website, which clearly states that it comes with tartare sauce. Food arrives, no sauce, so I ring them up. I was asked why I hadn’t put the sauce in the comments section and I explained, because it says it comes with it. I can hear the guy in the background saying ‘I don’t know where’s she’s getting this ‘tartare sauce’ from’. They send some out to me. By the time it arrives the scampi is cold, and the guy is still telling me I should have written about sauce in the comment section despite me repeatedly explaining that IT SAYS IT’S INCLUDED on the FoodHub site. Came in for a table of 10 late on a Sunday afternoon , no issues with finding us a table and the staff were really friendly. Food was great, good prices and the portions were huge and really nice. Excellent choice of food on the menu and everything was piping hot! One thing I would say is the toilet is unisex and was not clean, I would appeal to the owners to ensure that it is cleaned throughout the day, as a male it's not a big issue but I hate having to take my 4 year old daughter to a toilet that is unhygienic, I'm sure this is also noticed by other customers and it gives the wrong impression in terms of hygiene.
