By far one of the best restaurants I've ever visited.

The atmosphere is nothing alike any restaurant I've ever bene to, and I've been to some authentic "one of a kind" places around the world.

The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They're very understanding that you may not understand their culture, and are always happy to explain a dish, or even have a friendly chat about some of the background/history.

Me and my partner visit this restaurant regularly as it is our "go-to" place when it comes to date nights.

As for the food, it's of great quality. Something I really appreciate are their traditional Portuguese dishes. As a European myself, I miss these types of dishes and they're certainly not something you'd be able to get yourself in your ordinary British pub.

Drinks/Cocktails are also a great touch, and superb when paired with the iconic dishes. So far I've managed try all but one of their cocktails which they offer, and I must say that their Expresso Martini, Mojito and Long Island Ice Tea are delicious.

I also appreciate their uniqueness, as they have an option on the menu where they will bring out dishes as they are made fresh, and you won't know for sure what you have, and it's great for indecisive people - or those whom may not have anything in mind and just appreciate a good dining. Of course, they are things from the menu so you can always double check and say "Can you please not give me this" if you really wanted to, but what's the fun in that?!

Lastly, the pricing. Their prices are very fair. They offer their cocktails at 2 for £10, which I find being a good deal. Their meals are also well priced at the average main meal costing about £13.00, including 2 sides - best choice is always Fries and Salad :) For a date night (2 people) you can prepare yourself to be paying in the area of £75-£90 depending on what you order. For me and my partner, we're usually in between £80 and £90, that including a main meal for both of us, one to share (usually a desert) and 2 or 3 cocktails each. Unless you order an absurd amount, you shouldn't pay more than £100 per visit. To put this in perspective, for an event of 13 people, the total bill came to approximately £480.00. Everyone was fully packed with no space for desert, and there were several drinks each with some as much as 4 or 5 each.

Overall this place would deserve 6* as it is truly a magnificent place to visit.

Only downside to this, is that it is almost always fully booked, and that means that sometimes it can get little loud, especially if there are...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lisbon Tapas Restaurant in Wrexham, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was simply excellent. Each tapas dish was carefully prepared and offered a wonderful variety of flavors. The tastes were authentic, and the presentation of the dishes was appealing.

In addition to the outstanding food, I want to highlight the extremely friendly service. The staff was attentive, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. They were ready to provide recommendations and were available for any questions. The service truly was top-notch and contributed to a pleasant and relaxed evening.

Another highlight of Lisbon Tapas Restaurant was the selection of delicious wines. The wine list offered a nice variety of local and international wines that perfectly complemented the tapas dishes. The recommended wine enhanced the overall flavor experience and added to the enjoyment of the meal.

All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Lisbon Tapas Restaurant in Wrexham. The food is exceptional, the service is friendly and attentive, and the wine selection is superb. If you're looking for a fantastic culinary experience, this restaurant is definitely...

From start to finish, we were truly looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome, which really set the tone for the evening.

We ordered five plates from the tapas menu, along with a side of fries, and to our surprise, they even served us extra dishes free of charge! With only two of us dining, the portions could have easily fed four people—but we had no trouble nearly finishing everything because the food was simply outstanding.

One thing we loved is that they serve the dishes fresh as they’re ready, keeping the experience exciting. The drinks arrived quickly, and their cocktail selection is impressive. Our personal favorite? The Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri absolutely delicious!

We can now see why everyone calls this the best restaurant in Wrexham, and we would 100% go back. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend booking in advance, as we’ve tried to go before but always left it too late.

This place is now a firm favorite for us, and we’ll definitely be making it a regular spot. If you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly...

While the food was good, I can't help but feel disappointed. I took my wife to Lisbon for Tapas at 6 pm on a Friday evening, ahead of going to the cinema. I was going to go to Bank, but ended up going here because Bank couldn't fit us in and it had 4.8 stars on Google. It had been a long time since we had Tapas, so we were looking forward to it. The restaurant was obviously quiet at this time and service was prompt and friendly. The food was tasty, we had garlic bread while waiting, which was nice. Following this we ordered Albondigas (these were very tasty), Tortilla (nice but I have had better), Frango Piri Piri (very nice) and Patatas Bravas (I thought a bit bland and lacking sauce). Lastly the Chorizo, I love Chorizo so was really waiting for this. While very big and very meaty, I didn't enjoy it, I thought it had a funny taste. I could easily have left it, but didn't because I had paid for it. So overall very average and I thought some of the dishes were expensive for what you got. All I can say is we won't return.

We brought our grandparents to Lisbon tapas last night as we had purchased a voucher for their Christmas gift. I had heard amazing things, and wanted them to try somewhere special in Wrexham. I can honestly say it was incredible. Our servers were so lovely and welcoming, the food was 10/10. My nan isn’t the most confident with seafood these days, but even she couldn’t stop herself going for more. They already plan on popping back for their anniversary this month. Wrexham is very lucky to have such an incredible independent authentic Portuguese. Diolch a Obrigada x
