I never rant on here but Iām going to have to so The Nags Head At Wrexham understand how horrified and upset I was today after my visit. Myself and my 7 1/2 month son went for lunch, I asked if they could heat his lunch up for me which I was told āNo!ā When I asked why she said āwell what if we do it too hot?ā I responded āevery restaurant we take Finley too offers this service, pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds (as I understand they have more powerful microwaves than we do at home), I would obviously check the temperature of the food before giving it to my son and if it needed to cool down then I would leave it for a momentā. She still said no! I had to try to use some water to heat his lunch but as most parents know this isnāt the best way and Finley likes his food hot. He wouldnāt eat it, he got upset as it was still cold and was sick. As a parent I was disgusted in the lack of care or understanding given by the member of staff. I had a sachet of fruit that he usually has for his pudding so thatās all he could have for his lunch then. I had already ordered food for myself there, if I had known they didnāt care about my child (maybe because he wasnāt eating off their menu) I wouldnāt have bothered. I have been attending Nags Head Wrexham for years but I WILL NOT be going back. I urge parents of small children not too either. As stated every restaurant and cafe we have attended (and we visit a lot during the week as I am on maternity) have been so helpful and understanding, this is why I am so shocked by their...

Read moreI have never had a dodgy meal at the Nags Head. So yesterday I took my sister for a meal, which was absolutely beautiful. I have to say that we wanted to make alterations to the items we chose off the menu. I wanted mine with jacket potato and salad and my sister wanted hers with mashed potato and gravy. This was absolutely no trouble to the helpful staff. So today I went again with two friends. One friend had the Chicken and bacon salad, and was thrilled with it. Myself and my other friend chose the golden menu (3 courses for £6.50). We expected the courses to be small for that price, and of course they were slightly smaller, but absolutely perfect considering we were havin 3 courses so cheaply. The tomato and basil soup was to die for. Followed by a 4oz gamon egg chips and peas. Then we chose fruit cobler and custard. The staff were so helpful and friendly and several came running when I had a choking fit. They produced a glass of water for me to sip and three of them took it in turns to slap my back. I hasten to add I just breathed in as I swollowed, so it wasn't anything actually stuck in my throat. This is a homely, friendly, busy pub, with value for money meals, and they are always piping hot, and reasonably priced. We'll done"The Nags Head" Mount...
