Very disappointed tried to serve us scampi twice that was burnt. Said it needed to be in that long to be cooked. I have cooked for many years and in my experience and by cooking safely that's what your kitchen probe is for..when ordering food the barman had earpiece in so having a three way conversation. The young girl behind the bar was very pleasant but she was being used to relay messages from assistant manager to us. When he eventually did approach us he was abrubt and was told there's nothing he could do its been cooked twice for us. It was only with a threat of trading standards that we had our money refunded. This is not how you treat your customers this is why you are not doing very well on your meals its a team effort. If there's something wrong with the fryer close it down do not send food out that it is burnt. Cook you are In control of your own kitchen take pride in it and stand up for yourself when equipment isn't working. I hope you read this review and put your team together. Wanted to go for a drink whilst waiting for a bus, my partner and I were challenged on the door and produced our ID’s, both valid and ourselves. a female staff member who accompanied the security guards said “good luck getting served with these” and let us in. We were getting served and the same woman came and whispered something to the bartender who then said the same thing- they didn’t look like us. In all fairness, I have cut my hair, but my name, date of birth and address haven’t changed (which we both got correct when asked, obviously). Absolutely CLASS night! Needed somewhere to have drinks,.nice chilled atmosphere, watch the England vs Ukraine game. We'd been there for about 7 hours living our best lives. Drinks were top class, service, top class. Cheers to Matt, Conrad and I cant remember the other two girls name however you both were AMAZING too! Toilet is abit of a mission to get to especially when you been day drinking since 1pm but its still worth it cause theres a lovely mirror at the top where I did take about 6 selfies cause Beer Goggles are a thing and I felt boujee af!
