I had the salmon, cream cheese and egg bagel with a pot of jasmine flower tea and was very pleased with the food, I was even given the choice of how my eggs were cooked. My friends also enjoyed their meals , and the table service was great with us being approached minutes after seating but not pressured when we hadn't made our meal choice yet. The place was very clean and smelled nice and the decoration was very unique and personal, with a quiant feel even though it could easily hold up to 40 people at maximum I reckon. The tables were spaced out enough and the cutlery was unique but not clashing, which suited the theme of the cafe. The menu was very extensive and diverse and there seemed to be fresh cakes on display. Everything was fresh and the portions were large and filling. I personally liked the added touches of the air plants around. Would recommend

Absolutely amazing food! We had pancakes & toppings (local bacon was amazing and had a good thickness to it, none of the paper thin bacon you get from supermarkets) We also had the Masala Omelette which was so good. Have been to India before and this is something you’d have whilst there. Not very spicy but still have a slight kick to it (don’t let the green chilli’s make you think otherwise) Flat whites and Oreo milkshakes were superb. What really sold the deal was walking in with the dog - restaurant is dog friendly inside (which was the deciding factor between here and Sophie’s around the corner) and being greeted with a free!! sausage for the dog. All around spectacular brunch. Service was excellent. All for less than £40 and in any other major city (or tiny pub) this would be £40+

This is a great place to come to!!! Lovely place to chill. There was a corner with random games and books for kids. Service was amazing, there was an adaptation to every order and the ladies nailed every one! I was impressed! There were plenty of different options for food and goodness me no one complained. Menu caters for many different diets and they are happy to work around you. Food was luscious!!! Personally I would highly recommend the angelic breakfast, it is well named!!! For the food and service it wasn't priced too high either. Ooooh and the smoothies are well worth a try! You'll not regret your visit if it was anything like ours! ENJOY!

Been here several times and tried to give the cafe the benefit of the doubt but have been continuously disappointed. Especially over the summer period i’ve noticed that it appears incredibly understaffed. There’s almost always only one person working the counter; making drinks AND waiting tables which seems super stressful and like a lot of pressure to put on employees, I’ve also noticed the woman who I’ve assumed is the manager treating the wait staff poorly and being snarky. here’s some other things i’ve noticed: sticky tables that, contrary to prior reviews/feedback, i do not believe are due to the cleaning supplies as i’ve been in during times where customers have come and gone and there’s been no cleaning of the tables in between guests crumbs in the seats very dirty floors my friend got a chocolate milkshake once without whip cream and it appeared as if they just poured milk on top of the milkshake to fill the glass?? Manager (I assume) complaining about business taxes to customers (mind you, instead of helping the very busy staff with the jobs that actually need to be done) dated, dirty menus Food was okay but very greasy and seemed a bit overpriced for what it was considering there are better cafes for cheaper in Aber within blocks. soggy chips, spoons quality food at twice the price. I don’t want to bring small businesses down but there seems to be a massive sense of entitlement within management and how the business is run. This cafe treats being busy like it’s a blame all for a poorly run restaurant when in reality, tourist season is the time you want to prove your business as successful rather than reinforcing a bad look. I sincerely hope little devils can improve as on the outside it seems like a really nice, quaint...

I'm sure this will get deleted as noticed another negative one from yesterday was.

Looked so promising, menu and venue look amazing, ordered fine, food came out and it was slightly wrong, we mentioned to waitress (North American accent) who became very rude when we mentioned it, we weren't bothered at all by the mistake, but her reaction was unnecessary and so rude. Our kids got their food first, which was all good, when mine and my wife's came out it was cold, at this point, following the waitresses reaction we were so reluctant to mention it, but fortunately a second member of staff asked if all was OK and we explained the food was cold, she apologised and offered to put in the oven, came back 5 minutes later but was still not hot, obviously it would take longer than 5 to heat and appreciate not keeping us waiting. We didn't ask, but were given a 20% discount, which was not necessary, we have never given a negative review of anywhere, but the reaction of the waitress and how awkward it made us feel totally ruined our experience.

Such a shame, as we we sat down to order we were all so excited for our lunch after seeing the menu.

UPDATE...

TO YOUR RESPONSE:

  1. You weren't there
  2. The other waitress apologised for the 1st waitress, and wasn't even around when we ordered
  3. Bear in mind we asked for the bill, without complaining officially about our experience, and never asked for a discount shows we aren't looking to pick faults, I'm 38 years old and have NEVER left a bad review, I'd focus more on that then making excuses. We just wanted a nice meal, having never visited Aberystwyth before, and we didn't get it, nor did we have a...

The decoration looks very tired and could really do with some warm attention. Friendly staff however it did feel somewhat chaotic and slightly disorganised- with 1hr parking, it took 50mins for a hard boil egg, two pieces of toast and a bacon sausage sandwich to arrive. Whilst the staff did apologise for the delay, the order wasn’t complicated for a table of two. - disappointing experience and unsure If I would return - other than a coffee with time 😳😳

Firstly can i thank the owner that replied to my review, its clear in your response you are passionate and proud of your business and that is refreshing to read so i truly thankyou. I see little point in responding to the specifics of our reply as i do not feel it would serve purpose to either. I will say this, at no point were we informed that your café does not serve boiled eggs and that you offered to do so knowing you kitchen was not fully functional for reasons beyond your control. if we were informed of this upon arrival we could have been in a position to make a more informed decision to say or leave. We certainly did not expect to not pay for a boiled egg but after over 15mins and receiving a runny poached egg and even with your own confession you stated it was a little under. In addition, we didn't raise our disappointment upon exit as both my wife and I felt it was important to reflect on our experience. we do not submit this review lightly and its certainly not written with any ill intend. I wish you and your business every success in the future but my experience outlined in my original...
