Between us we had two different cheese cakes, a Bakewell tart, a homity pie, a baguette and salads. It’s a takeout only currently. The food was really well presented and there was a staggering amount of choice in terms of bakery and hot meals. The staff were friendly and the place was absolutely heaving, which is always a good sign. One of the key things is that the prices were extremely reasonable. A very fancy looking slice of cheesecake was only Ā£2.50, a box of fresh salad Ā£5.50, and even a hot meal for less than Ā£6. I even liked that they used plain, recyclable paper packaging and wooden cutlery. It’s amazing that so many companies can’t move away from plastic yet a fairly priced bakery has nailed it without having to go upmarket and catering for those without need for a budget. I would frequent this place again and again because it was affordable, tasty and there was enough range to satisfy the whole family. The only criticism I have is that I can’t stand seeing people take money then immediately touch your food. Paper wraps to hold the baguettes or a quick hand wash would have been appreciated.

We found this place by accident whilst on holiday on the Pembrokeshire coast. We purchased a selection of items to take back to our self catering accommodation and was so impressed we decided to detour on our final day in order to take several items home. The cheesecakes are impressive. But they make the most delicious Homity Pie along with cheese potato & leek rissoles (see photos). If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular at Liz’s.

I’ll apologise for not taking better photos - or ones of the other things we bought. But here’s a little tour my lemon meringue pie went on šŸ˜‚ We paid… Ā£11.85 and had a lemon meringue pie, chocolate orange cake slice, brownie, sausage roll, and a cream cake thing that our youngest can be seen enjoying. Honestly, if you’re in the Narberth town area on a random drive - that was us - then pop in šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

Disappointing, coffee yesterday from a machine which made the drinks far too hot. The takeaway containers were large, but I would’ve preferred better quality than quantity. How can you charge barista prices when a barista is not preparing the coffee? The quiche we had to take away was reasonable, although on the salty side. The sausage roll was very standard. The cakes all looked amazing, but I think probably on the very sweet side if my carrot cake was anything to go by. It’s a shame that the seated area at the back is closed. I presume this is due to lack of staff which is a problem with many businesses across the whole of the UK at the moment and not the fault of the cafĆ©. The young lady who served me was very pleasant and efficient. Two coffees, sausage roll, slice of quiche and a cake Ā£11.30. Reasonable by today’s prices. A very traditional...

Lovely cafe, nice friendly staff, food is amazing .... but unfortunately prices are ridiculous!!!!! 1 large curry and chips which came in a medium sized tray £8.95.... a salad bowl again medium sized tray £8.95.... this is the reason for 3 stars otherwise it would be 5 stars. I feel the prices are focused on tourists who will pay these prices whilst away... where as us locals are paying the same too. There's a big thing around here to "shop local" to help local businesses etc... but how do they help us? By putting prices up? Apart from the prices I can't fault the place. Help local businesses then help local...
