What an awful bunch of workers there at night .. I went into the shop tonight about half 1am there was nobody but me in there and the staff ordered the food I sat there listening to there music with foul language in there I then noticed they placed the wraps in a bag and left it on the top ten mins later they put the burgers in there so by this time the wraps had been sat there for ten mins they did it again with the fried when they eventually gave me the food I touched it and it was cold before I even left the store I told the young boy who served me and he said it wasn’t his fault he’s doing all the work on his own with no help another young boy came across wearing jeans and a jumper he had cut into a crop top and started explaining how a kitchen worked I told him that I understand I worked in Burger King when I was younger so Iam aware of how long food should be sitting he started to get snarky with me and told me if Iam not satisfied then I will be banned from the store I told him not to be so disrespectful I was just saying the food was cold ( to which he agreed ) I started to leave the store and he shouted across the store go back to Burger King and laughed .. I called for the manager because I wanted this young boys name and no one was wearing name tags the manager totally agreed with me told me he would look at the video and reprimand the worker but has I walked out I saw them both looking at me and laughing .: what awful service not at al professional and the manager clearly...
Read moreLet's start with the service, although I had a takeaway I went in to collect, the service was terrible, absolutely no interest in doing their job, and after being forced to park on the street due to a dpd driver blocking parking spaces with a large electric van he obviously could handle (maybe swap it for a clown car) it, parked across multiple spaces the useless xxxx.
Then your confronted by service staff (OK, granted its not the best paying job, but if you don't want to be there leave and give it to someone who does want the money and is happy to be there)
Anyway the front of house staff, no customer skills, throws the straw into your food, same straw that's been handled by every hand behind the counter. (no serviettes can't be arsed with that, hygiene, really? To much to remember, there's like 4 people waiting for collection FFS???)
If that's bad enough, the bun tasted stale, bite into it, you could feel the sides were hardening, and in the soft parts you could taste the dampness from long storage.
Will never go there again, seems more than 40 people in the building and it goes Pete Tong the poor darlings melt under the HUUUGE Pressure of serving basic food, cooked on preset cooking times, based on very basic customer service, that they struggle with when there's more than...
Read moreEarly morning visit. Walk in customers seem to be third priority after drive through and pick up in that order. Scuse the pun. Lots of constantly beeping machines making it feel like an emergency ward. The great feature of phone chargers wasn't switched on and the app wasn't offering a walk-in service, which was clearly available. Food wasn't great and lukewarm except for the drink. Given it 3 stars as it has been a lot better on previous occassions.
Update: 19/6/25 - I went to this McDonald's tonight after some time avoiding it. Its no better and somehow worse.
I ordered and paid for what they called the Big Arch and some small fries via the app. I gave the app reference on arrival yet was asked to pay for a different order at the payment window. No apology was given when I explained my order. I was passed to the service window and received my order. It wasn't until a few minutes later I became aware that the fries were cold and the the burger had so much slippery ingredients it shot out of the bun and almost escaped to Canada. My hands were covered in sauce.
So, my advice is "Best avoid".
Incidentally had the Burger King been open i would have gone there. Better food, great chips and chilli cheese...
