Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

Not the best welcome walking into the cafe in morrisons on Newport Road in Cardiff, was approached by a member of staff that didn't say hello, first words were I cant order from the touch screen self order machine because there were to many orders coming through, I counted 5 people in the restaurant and they had all been served. No scrambled egg no black pudding no porridge and no teacakes at 08:30 in the morning, we had to find a clean table because the majority of them were filthy, breakfast turned up within 90 seconds of sitting down, slapped on the plate cold and watery. No passion or pride in these 2 women serving food. Awful service and awful food. For the same price we could have gone to The Harvester and had unlimited breakfast which I wish we had done now. I will be escalating this to management. We will never return...

Both coffee machines not working, ordered breakfast on line after a 3/4 of an hour wait I politely enquired at the till to make sure my order was in and was abruptly spoken over saying the meals were taking 3/4 of an hour and I would have to wait there was no apology for the delay appalling customer service. The restaurant was only third full. So the wait was suprising ,It arived 10 mins later it was served In a surly manner again with no apology for the wait Then we discovered that 3 portions of beans were missing. There’s plenty of room here, biggest Morrisons cafe I have visited! There’s a touch screen computer just on the outside of the cafe but I was told it’s been switched off and they are only doing limited options so the breakfast I wanted I couldn’t have. Then another customer told me it’s like this every week.. just limited options. Which is a shame. I had poached Eggs with avocado on toast which was ok.
