Hidden gem of a café! A lovely light contemporary space. When I sat down at a table that hadn't been wiped down properly, with tacky fake flowers, and a sticky laminated menu, I started to regret coming in. It made me think of the place as a modern space, that grandma has been left in charge of. I was also surprised to see that it was quiet for a Saturday lunchtime. But then the food was fantastic and served promptly. We ordered the halloumi & falafel toasted wrap 🌯 and the goats cheese and red onion jam bagel🐐🥯. Both of which were lovely and well presented! Some of the menu items were a tad overpriced (e.g. £3.25 for a glass of diet coke and £4 for a non-homemade slice of cake), but the rest was very reasonable. Would recommend, and certainly visit again.

Highly recommend this place! This café is located in a beautiful building from 1901, which also houses a gallery introducing the local culture. I didn’t expect the café to be this good, especially the coffee — Mocha and Cortado with dark roast were just perfect for my taste: rich, aromatic, and smooth 👍 (around £4) ☺️ Breakfast and brunch are also delicious. The pistachio cake was smooth and creamy, the plain bagel was nicely toasted (crispy outside, soft and chewy inside), and the salad was fresh with a very professional presentation. For around £10, this is definitely a win in the UK 😆

I don't know how it's taken me so long to try here. Service was great, lovely window seat everything looks clean and new. Sandwiches and wraps all looked great accompanied by salad and fries. Coffee was really good which really set the tone, Victoria sponge, lovely layers, so delicate and pretty. Menu not the biggest but everyone is sure to find something, if not then double up on cakes 😁

My Husband and I are regulars at Oriel Cafe and for good reason - It is the most consistent in healthy yummy dishes and sweet treats! M & M work hard to provide variety in their menus, especially for people like me that are Gluten-free. It is one of the few places in Llandudno, where they make their own GF desserts. I have my favourites, but there's always something new! The cafe is always immaculate and the service excellent. The large windows make the atmosphere bright and cheery and the location is convenient for shopping. If you want the usual boring lunch or afternoon tea, go somewhere else. If you want to "treat" yourself - go...
