There is a chip shop in Llandudno that styles itself as the best in the town. It is probably the worst. Luckily, this is not that establishment, although it probably should lay claim to that crown. The staff are efficient and polite (unlike at 'Llandudno's best chippy' where they are slow and sullen bordering on rude). And unlike the other establishment, this place is sparklingly clean; good hygiene is patently well observed here. The chips themselves were a generous portion, perfectly golden, and amongst the best chips I have experienced from the Isle of skye to the Isle of White. My partner got a steak pie which was so good it was practically finished before I could snap of a pic. The best thing, the prices! Substantially below the exorbitant rip off ones found near the pier. If you want want to create that perfect British holiday feeling of fish and chips by the seaside, get them here.

The wife went in for fish and chips take away for me and her on Saturday. She had the small fish and chips which were £7.95 and a carton of peas which cost extra, and I had a large fish and chips and a carton of peas. Mine was suppose to be the large, i could literally count how many chips were in the tray and the minnow fish on top! My wifes small portion were bigger than mine! We had a can of coke each too. It came to over £24 for both of us, the food was ok, nothing special, as i had finished it before i could taste it!! I wouldnt of mind paying this much for it, but the portions were pathetic! The photo is of my fish and chips and not the wifes small portion! Doesn't cost much to give a little more chips!

I've been to so many fish and chips bars in England, and this one was the first I was at in Wales, in our visit to Llandudno. The place was recommend by a friend, but I was sooo disappointed. The fish was greasy, the crust so thin, the chips was not crispy not even looked fried!!!. They offer takeaway and dine in. We got the takeaway and sat outside, they charge for ketchup pouches an extra 50p. no proper fork no napkin!

I arrived today with my Wife and 3 children after a long walk around Llandudno as we had picked out a place for fish and chips, (traditional seaside meal). Upon arrival we were advised to find a seat if we could find any. Most of the seats were empty but was due to all the tables still have previous customers plates etc still on the tables uncleaned. After moving dishes and cups ourselves to another table we sat down. After around 15 minutes and asking a waitress 3 times about ordering, someone finally came to take our orders. (5 × cod, chips and peas, 3 x cokes, 1 coffee, 1 tea) again we waited over 15 minutes for drinks to arrive which we had to ask another 2 waitresses for. Drinks finally arrived. After over an hr we were still awaiting signs of any food arriving, we were told by 2 waitresses that they would check... still waiting. Meanwhile 2 tables that were empty upon our arrival had their food served and the table behind received their cutlery even though they had not even put in their food order. I went to speak to the Manageress after the next waitresses had no clue what we had ordered. The Manageress was dismissive and initially ignored my questions as to where our food was. A single plate of fish and chips was brought to the table which clearly wasn't ours but an attempt to save their embarrassment. I asked the Manageress why we had not been served after over an hr and was told they were busy and that food was made to order. This place has an open front for takeaway who also cook the food for the restaurant area and gad plenty of fish and chips available and cooked when we arrived. I asked to cancel our order and paid for drinks. At no point did the Manageress or anyone apologise for how awful our service was and we left hungry. If you are going for fish and chips anywhere in Llandudno I wouldn't recommend this place... Appalling with a side serving of ignorance! I only gave 1 star so it would let me post or it would...

Visited yesterday early evening and the floor was full of food and embedded in the carpet. Dirty pots piled high on most tables. We sat down and one of the staff members came over and asked if she could take our order. We said we are not ordering anything until these tables we are sat at are cleaned and all the previous customers pots are removed. She gave us the dirtiest look and walked off. She then walked past several times more and another customer on the next tables said ‘they won’t clear the table they will just leave it there in front of you. So after another ten minutes of waiting we decided to leave. I did ask two staff members if this was normal and acceptable including the women who gave us the dirty look for simply asking for the tables to be cleaned before we ordered. They just looked at us and said sorry…. Sorry and that was it nothing else. This place is disgusting and the staff clearly have not had correct training in customer service and basic hygiene. They also looked like they couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want to be...

BEST FISH PIE EVER😍 Me and my partner went to visit Llandudno and after long walk on the shore decided to find quick fish and chips. My partner got Haddock which was amazing and I went for fish pie with cheddar on top (just because I love cheese ) I haven't got enough words to describe how delicious it was.I literally fell in love and ordered another one. There's few different fishes inside like salmon, cod and even prawns topped with yummy mash potatoes and cheddar, home made straight from the oven I must admit I've never eaten better fish pie it's so delicious I could eat it all the time and going back there tomorrow to have it on breakfast Staff is lovely and very friendly and it's obvious they're putting lots of love and passion to theirs dishes which is hard to find nowadays. I'll be visit them every time I'll be back to Wales. Well done ladies and thank you you're amazing and made me really happy as cooking is my passion as well and I love food and yours is above and beyond you deserve...
