Well, I'm lucky enough to have visited many of the world's best restaurants in my lifetime but some of them don't know how to surprise you with great knowledge of how to cook the perfect Sunday roast. This was our first visit to Pebbles, and I can honestly say it was by far The Best roast. The huge Yorkshire puddings literally melted in your mouth. Roast spuds were the best tasting, crunchy outside, and soft inside. Veggies were Al dente. Then the meats. I had chicken, which was succulent. My partner had the beef, which he said just melted in his mouth. Proper mash as well as real tasty gravy. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back as we come to Angkesey every weekend to try out the main menu. Great choice of drinks and wine in proper large glasses, compared to the measured mouth washes you get from other establishments. Not overcrowded, either. Read moreMe and my husband have been staying in Benllech for a week for our hols, we tried Pebbles on Wednesday night for the burger and beer night and honestly it's the best burger I've ever had anywhere! The crumble after was gorgeous too! We booked then and there for a table for tonight (Friday) as our last meal before we go home Saturday morning and we're so glad we did...

(£75ish for two mains, a desert, two glasses of wine and an appletiser)
What really makes us rate it down though was the service. It was a little painful - we were seated quickly but ordering drinks, and food, and then getting the bill were all slow. It would be understandable if they were very busy, but at some points 2-3 waitresses were standing at the bar talking while we were trying to make eye contact and call them over to order. They also weren't particularly friendly.
Unsure if...
