Found this gem on my way to stock up with chicken breast for my dog lol . Walked over from Borth Y Gest and was ready for a drink - ordered a hot chocolate ( they do different flavours ) , also 2 slices of the apple and date flapjack . Now I have tasted many hot chocolates but nothing like this , literally the best hot chocolate ever , so I went back in the cafe and told the lady that served me and apparently they make the hot chocolate with real chocolate shavings . I sampled the flapjack later - wow what can I say , again I have tasted many flapjacks but this apple and date absolutely delicious, moist , fresh and plenty of dates and apple in it . I can highly recommend this gem of a coffee shop and the hot chocolate is calling me so I am going to get dressed and head over there . If you come to Porthmadog or are local definitely give this...

My girlfriend and I spotted this cafe and called in for some coffee and cake. We ignored the 1 star hygiene rating on the window and went in regardless. The coffee and cake were really nice. However, upon exiting the cafe we got up and walked out at the same moment as one of the owners also wanted to go out. Would give 0 if I could! We are local and wanted to support a local business but won't be going back! I ordered a chocolate milkshake and wish I had read reviews first. My milkshake was WARM!! Literally undrinkable, I threw it away after 3 sips as I just couldn't drink it. My husband ordered a coffee and said it was the worse coffee he'd ever had - again threw over half of it away.
