Food - no issue Hygiene & staff management almost non existent

I’m not a Karen who complains but this time it’s necessary, walked in around 2:40 on a Friday to eat in.

Now I’m not sure if she shift manager wasn’t in but the place was reminiscent of a war zone with beef and lettuce strung everywhere instead of body parts.

There was only 1 occupied table at the time, we literally had to look around to find a table that wasn’t splattered with beef or a chair that didn’t have sour cream oozing out of it. This description might be seen as hyperbolic but it wasn’t far off.

I’d assume the outdoor seating area was clean because it was occupied by quite a few of the staff all eating, ofcourse we are entitled to lunch breaks as workers but you don’t need that many staff doing nothing to maintain the restaurant.

Anyway, we ordered to eat in, food like I said was good and prepared in good time. Went up to the desk to collect the tray and to my delight I had some extra dollop of thick dried nacho cheese on the edge of my tray (hint, that means the tray wasn’t even cleaned)

The staff behind the counter were all essentially waddling around each other like penguins lost in a blizzard, I even heard a staff members say

“what’s going on with the dining area” another replied “I don’t know what’s going on”

Basic hygiene folks, basic hygiene, being lazy and making the place look tacky isn’t good on the franchiser who probably spent a bomb...

Bridgend - I have to say. I’m very impressed with the staff here. My food order was wrong. And they very very kindly sorted it out asap without any complaining on their part. And they could have refused. I did make a mistake with one of the items which was my fault but they were ever so gracious towards me. I am autistic and dyslexic they were so understanding and patient and did my whole food order for me Courtney the lady manager I’m not sure is an absolutely wonderful human she treated me with great respect and kindness this place is great thank you so much COURTNEY and CERYS and the wonderful staff I’m really happy how kind they were to me as an autistic person THANKS Guys made my evening and week to see there is respectful and wonderful people out here. Waited 45 minutes. The whole restaurant was people sitting waiting for food. Meant to be fast food. When we got the food the “burrito” was more like a sauce wrap. Barely any filling. Not edible. And the quesadilla had filling in half of it other half empty? Workers being slow and chatting in the kitchen not doing much. You would think after waiting for 45 minutes they would’ve made something edible. They got a lot of complaints whilst we were in there even delivery drivers getting annoyed because they were told it would take 10 minutes. Waste of time. Honestly your best bet is going to the one in cardiff you will probably get your food faster than waiting...
