The Cardiff Stable: A Bottomless Brunch to Remember I had the pleasure of visiting The Cardiff Stable with a group of friends on a stag do. We opted for the bottomless brunch, and I can honestly say it was one of the best brunch experiences I've ever had.
I had an amazing time and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and affordable bottomless brunch experience. The food is delicious, the drinks are flowing, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are also incredibly friendly and attentive. If you're in Cardiff, be sure to check it out!
Food: The food was incredible! We had a huge selection of starters, including nachos, garlic bread, and potato tots. There was more than enough to go around, and everything was delicious. The pizza was also amazing – a thin stone-baked style. I was so full from the starters that I could barely finish the pizza!
Drinks: The bottomless drinks were another highlight. I tried both the beer and cider, but I ended up sticking with the cider as that was my preference. The drinks flowed freely, and the staff were always on hand to refill.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere was fantastic. Even though there were a large group of us, we still had plenty of space to ourselves. The tables were large and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Staff: The staff were top-notch. They were all so friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. They were also very efficient, and our drinks were never empty.
Value: At £29 per person, the bottomless brunch is excellent value for money. You get loads food and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes, and the quality of the food is exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a fun and affordable...
Read moreWe booked as a company six weeks in advance, 20 people, booked the upstairs area and checked a week before as well as on the day of the booking.
When we arrived management had only booked two staff and placed us down stairs at two separate tables, the staff (Georgina and Ola) were brilliant. They made it so much easier to order drinks. They accommodated us and worked twice as hard to get us drinks and food on time but management left them absolutely clueless about our request and we needed to ask staff to move us to upstairs and resulted in us helping in collecting drinks. Who organises two waiting staff on hand when 20 people book in advance!? To add to it it’s currently graduation season to heaps of families booked down stairs for their celebratory dinners and waiting staff was run ragged.
The waiting staff were brilliant but the confusion and clarity around our orders and getting drinks caused unnecessary stress and we’re bitterly disappointed with management especially with a month and a half’s notice. They weren’t aware we had booked and paid for meals ahead of time and unfortunately due to the rush we had to take it upon ourselves to organise drinks. It’s not fair to put your kitchen or waiting staff under this...
Read moreDreadful situation with a large group at The Stable. I booked in October and confirmed by email that despite it being near Christmas that their 2 for 1 offer would still be in place and I received confirmation of this by reply. Upon arrival we were seated, many only coming because I assured them that pizzas would be at the 2 for 1 rate, but I was told that this had been withdrawn. I showed the manager my email of confirmation and they said there was nothing they could do. This ruined the Christmas party for me as I then had to demand a discount, over and over. They offered 20% which I refused stating that what they were offering, given I had written evidence was paltry and it was their mistake not mine. At the end of the evening I simply said all I would pay for was 50% of the bill and this is indeed what I paid. But it was stressful and coloured the evening. We were regulars on a Tuesday night, after our art class which finishes at 8pm, but, we will not be going back. The bottom line here is the customer is apparently never right nowadays and despite showing the manager the email she refused to honour the 'agreement'. Shameful staff training and treatment of...
