Reflecting on my year-long stay here, I've learned to appreciate the surprising comfort hidden behind the initially unimpressive exterior of the building.

As a student at USW, just a short walk away, the convenience is hard to beat. Being close to the university makes it easy to balance between home and classes, with the added bonus of having shops and entertainment options nearby in the city center.

The staff here have been consistently friendly and helpful, which has been reassuring.

Overall, living here has been pretty good. The rooms are spacious and suitable for various activities, with ample storage space including a large desk and shelves. However, the thin walls mean that noise from neighboring rooms can be quite noticeable.

The bathrooms are on the smaller side and sometimes have plumbing issues, but the showers are a highlight with adjustable features and good water pressure. However, storage space in the shower area is limited.

The communal kitchens are spacious and serve as gathering spots, though the shared appliances, particularly the electric stoves, can be slow.

While I haven't personally encountered any bugs, I've heard reports from others. Additionally, the experience of living with roommates can greatly affect overall satisfaction.

It's so hottttt windows only open a little bit and it's horrible, rooms are pretty nice though. And in the winter the windows don't close properly and the heating turns off after around an hour so you wake up and it's feeezing

update: the average temperature in my room over the past month has been around 32-33 degrees which makes it on average hotter than the average daily temperatures in the dry tropical regions of the Sahara which is approximately 31.5. They recently sent out an email about how to deal with this and i kid you not said to go to the beach.

Staff are mostly friendly although some need an attitude check at reception, always someone on site to help, walking distance from both the Atrium and Atlantic House.

Rooms are a nice size with en suite bathrooms and a large (nearly double) bed.

On site facilities such as laundry room and common room are useful and maintained fairly well.

Other accommodations nearby seem to offer a lot more for the same price or cheaper.

Waiting for the lift if you're on a higher floor can be quite time consuming as there are only 2 for the entire building. Stairs are always there if you're brave...
