A proper pub, run very well with something different on each night of the week. Geraint, Katie and the rest of the team have made this a real gem in the heart of Bridgend.

Sadly they are leaving and the Pub is going to be closed again.

It's a pity that the owners, Star Bars and Pubs, and the brewery Heineken couldn't see what this place means to the people that use it and provide the support that is needed here. Just check out the 248 Facebook messages in support of the current Landlord and Landlady.

This is a huge loss to our community. I expect at some point in the future someone else will be found to run it, and also I expect that they will run into the same problems if they aren't addressed.

So why not just sort things out now, and let the good people of Bridgend enjoy this...

The Sunday Roast here will rival any top end resturant for quality. Accommodating, polite staff & service prompt. Only choice of two meats however both Beef & Turkey delicious, good choice of fresh vegetables with homemade gravy & a selection of sauces. Roast potatoes & Roast Parsnips crispy & fluffy inside ...A truely enjoyable dinner at £7.95 per person . Would Definitely Recommend If Your Looking For Nice Food In...

Service is good, although they could probably do with an extra member of staff during busy times. Decent range of drinks.

Serious hygiene issues with the toilets though, I don't think they've been cleaned in years. If it wasn't for that I would have definitely come back again...
