Great little Indian place in the heart of Chepstow. You can’t get better flavours and curries in southern Wales! Check out the Madras and get the naan! Only reason why they’re not getting 5 is because the service felt rushed!

Average prices, average quality. Really cool cellar venue. Friendly service, but my simple korma order took a good 30 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. Impressed with the included condiments and poppadom.

Hidden away but worth searching out. The atmospheric cellar setting is accompanied by some really tasty curries. Worth a trip over the Severn Bridge to visit.

We have just had our first take away from The Sitar Balti, we've recently moved to chepstow and love our Indian takeaways, used a superb one in Bradley Stoke and was worried we would not find one as good in Chepstow. Today is 1st January 2021 and my wife's birthday so we really wanted to find a good Indian take away, we were not dissapointed. Our order was ready when they said it would be, everything was there and it was a £50 order, food was lovely and hot, the staff were very pleasant and came to the door with our food straight away. We will definitely be returning, especially as there were some items on the menu that we had never had before, so will be looking forward to...

Decided to go for a last minute meal out on a Saturday. Contacted the restaurant in the morning to reserve and so glad we did! Very small, intimate Indian restaurant set in an old wine cellar. The waiting staff were just the correct level of attentive. The music was just loud enough to drown out the discussions around you without being too loud and the found was delicious. Service was perfect. Each dish came perfectly timed after the next and like always we couldn’t go to an Indian without having some poppadoms to start! Meal was great from start to finish. Will definitely...

Entrance is down a flight of steps as the restaurant is in the basement/cellar and it's made to look like a cavern. A row of bench tables to seat 4 down either side. Wasn't very busy on our visit, which was a first for my wife and I but not for the other couple. An extensive menu, which took a while, so popadums and pickles, sauces and onion salad was required to help make choices and when it arrived there was no disappointment as all plates were clear. Great food at a great price, will be planning to make a...
