I can't understand why this place has the best reviews in Chepstow. It was slightly tatty and rundown, the table hadn't been cleaned, there was a small notice on the wall saying in busy periods expect to wait 35 minutes, except we only saw it after we'd ordered. I specifically asked for my coffee to come with my food, however it arrived straight after ordering and yes 35 minutes before the food. We only ordered paninis,it shouldn't have taken that long, they really should have more people on food prep in the summer months. Read moreI tried this place thinking it looked nice. I wanted to sit outside so was quite rudely told to wait at a table and somebody will take my order. I waited half an hour and it wasn't at all busy, nobody came and took my order so I left. Wanting to give the place a second chance I went back a couple of weeks later and pretty much the same thing happened again. From the moment I walked into the cafe, the staff were friendly and welcoming. At 9am on a Sunday, it was nearly empty, though it started filling up as I left.
