Upper Crust Cardiff Trolley — Restaurant in Wales

Really?!? In these times of contagion, did the Upper Crust management hear of HYGIENE? At their Cardiff Central train station kiosk, they sell baguettes that are totally exposed and uncovered! And no, I do not wish to eat baguettes lying unprotected under a counter over which hundreds of people a day and the kiosk assitant handle money, card reader device, drag their sleeves etc., impacting negatively on the hygiene of a food product! Outrageous! Cannot you cover the baguettes with a plastic foil sheet?! 😡😠 I will report this further. People working with/ selling food must learn that this cannot be done anyway they fancy. Just wondering about an offer in a morning for a Bacon Roll & a Hot Drink.

Got served at Cardiff Central in main foyer about 08:15 8th March 2022 & got told that the Breakfast Bacon Roll offer does not include TEA but just Coffee. Sorry thats bias against Tea drinkers.

Got charged £5.19 today & yet twice yesterday 7th March 08:05 i got charged £4.49 for the same thing but with a small tea & the nice lady at the same place & then on Platform 2 kiosk got the same offer, so can you please clarify the offer with me & the staff.

This place is a joke. There was only ham and cheese baguettes. I asked them if they could remove 3 slices of easy singles and just toast it with ham and I would still pay full price. They replied by telling me they couldn’t remove 3 slices of easy singles as the kitchen was closed. So me being me bought the roll anyways, full price! I made my way to the nearest bin and disposed of the three slices myself and brought it back to them and they toasted it without any hesitation. What an unnecessary inconvenience for a 10 second job.
