Greggs — Restaurant in Walsall

Excellent quality food and food is well made with the store concise about health and safety and hygiene laws! Customer Service is excellent! The staff are very cheerful and friendly! The store is well presented and clean at all times which is amazing! It is well stocked compared to other Greggs in the surrounding area! However, at some times I feel this store is under staffed as there is a line of 6 people in front of me and only 1 employee taking orders. The other staff member left as her shift was over. I love Greggs and I have been a regular customer since I was born. Hi, This morning me and my wife and our daughter visited your store in Walsall ( at around 10am, 04th November ) we was standing in the queue deciding what to have, we was watching the staff behind the counter and one of the staff members was touching Raw bacon with no gloves on, she was separating it all and putting it onto the oven tray again with no gloves, she then proceeded to touch the sausage rolls in the oven WITHOUT gloves etc and NOT even washing her hands, she then had the sausage rolls and put them onto the serving counter, we felt this was very poor working in a food environment and also the staff that served us was very rude and very abrupt! Called in here as there was no local cafes open at the time. There were three staff working and not one of them said good morning or greeted any of the customers with a smile, in fact they were abrupt it felt as if you were an inconvenience. The sausage bap I was served was all split and the sausages were burnt I also had a white coffee which I threw away as that tasted sour. In store was dirty there was a full big bin by the side of he counter in full view of the customers and also where you got spoons / sugar from was absolutely filthy sticky and the disposal area was also full to the brim.
