TL;DR- Absolutely incredible food, the best brunch we ever had! Lovely service, and the perfect vibe for a weekday in town.

If you ever find yourself in Leamington Spa, this place is a MUST. I don't usually write reviews, but this one absolutely deserves it. We came here midday looking for something to eat and my husband had found this spot on Google. We loved the vibe and aesthetic and were offered options for seating since it was a quiet weekday.

We got menus and immediately loved the options that there were. I ordered The Veggie and enquired about sweetcorn salsa on the side since it sounded amazing and my husband ordered the Whipped Feta with a side of lamb merguez sausages. We both got peach iced tea.

Got our drinks and we were so impressed with it. It was hand-crafted and we absolutely loved it so much. The extra thought that went into it was what made us really love it. Generally we pay double the price somewhere else for just a bottle of medicore iced tea.

Then the food came and oh my goodness we couldn't get enough of it. It was flavourful, delicious, cooked with lots of attention to detail and we rated it as the best place we ever had brunch at. The sourdough bread was delightlyfully buttered for us. The eggs and hashbrowns were made to perfection. The bacon and sausage my husband absolutely loved. I fine dined my way through the incredible spiced beans, immaculate sweetcorn salsa, super flavourful mushroom and tomatoes, the lovely pumpkin seeds with spinach and I couldn't get enough.

Definitely pop on by during the weekday as it was the perfect ambiance for brunch! The entire aesthetic is lovely, they have a lounge upstairs which is such a charming vibe to the entire place. We will be back soon,...

This was one of the highest ed rated for an English breakfast in Leamington Spa. So we gave it a go, it's a tiny quaint building, hidden down a back road. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There's a reasonable selection of food, including vegetarian. My husband had his full English (minus veg and eggs, so yes a plate of pig). He likes it, however he felt the oil they used left an odd taste. I had the veggie mushroom, egg and spinach bap, very delicious. The same oil was used and it does leave an odd after taste. Other than than it was very enjoyable. They did have a salmon and avocado on sourdough, that I would consider, if we return.

We tried their chai hot and cold, both very nice.

And we had a raspberry and white chocolate cake. The cake was nice, no taste of white chocolate, the topping was very sweet, but that's down to personal taste, my husband loved it!.

The prices are fair, average for the area.

The decor is clean and fresh, the tables were sticky, not from dirt, it's almost like they had been vanished a lot. Fresh tables and chairs would probably be our only suggestion.

Toilets are upstairs, we didn't try those, so we cannot comment.

Overall...

I visited this place for some breakfast late Sunday morning. I was worried the place would be full as they don't allow bookings but there were a few tables available still at 11.30am although after we had sat down the remaining tables filled up quickly. I had an amazing Americano! This place does some great coffee. I had avocado and poached eggs on sourdough which came with a drizzle of Harissa. The flavours were all great but the eggs unfortunately were not the best. They were a weird combination of over and under cooked at the same time (the yolk wasn't runny enough but the white was slimy and looked undercooked in places). However, the flavours were all great. I think we were a bit forgotten about at that point as noone took our plates for a long time afterwards or asked us if we wanted another drink which we may well have done. But overall, a great atmosphere and another dog-friendly cafe I'll be adding to my list of...

Trof had a special set course dinner evening. It was my first time there. I loved the the intimate ambiance, the lighting, the decor. There were only 17 people, so the service was swift, and friendly. The wine list was simple, but good, and well priced. We had a complimentary glass of Graham Beck (South African) sparkling wine. Really good. And had a bottle of Bread and Butter (California) Pinot Noir. Also really good. I liked the music journey with the evening, starting calm and picking up a few beats as the evening went on. As for the food- well prepared and well plated. It could have had a bit more flavour. Maybe a bit more salty or acidic tastes.
