The Moonlight — Restaurant in West Lindsey

Really Disappointing. Ordered 2 Mains and a Garlic Naan to share with my Son. His Chicken Korma was fine, tender chicken chunks and enjoyable sauce. Garlic Naan was faultless, buttery garlic and soft,fluffy texture. Sadly, the Lamb Balti let the whole meal down. I got the impression it had been cobbled together and thrown out just to deal with a large number of orders, 7pm Friday evening. 2 different cuts of Lamb, neither, slow cooked for long enough, to give the meat the melt in the mouth tenderness it needed. The sauce barely resembled a Balti dish, far too Salty, far too many tomatoes. It barely resembled a curry dish, instead , tasted like a bland and salty second rate, tasteless stew. The meat was inedible and the accompanying sauce was as bad. Friends of mine, swear by this place and have used it for years. After my latest meal I won't be using the Moonlight again...

Me and my fiancee went for a meal for valentine's day and it was our first meal here. We were met by a young girl and then seated by the manager at the table next to the drinks bar which is an awful table to sit, all we had all night were people stood right next to us ordering food and waiting to pick up food, we couldn't even have a private conversation because there were people stood next to us and behind us ALL NIGHT. The food was just like every other typical English Indian restaurant, it was what you would expect basically. The chicken was obviously not cooked to order either, it wasn't tender it was quite chewy which it shouldn't be in a curry. They also had like some Chart music on in the restaurant which made me cringe, I much prefer authentic Indian music when I am in a Indian restaurant. Overall a very average...

First time ordering from here and we will definitely come back ! Food was absolutely delicious best Indian I’ve ever had ! It was so tasty big portions cooked to perfection and flavours were amazing ! I ordered a collection, on my arrival the man in the restaurant was so lovely and welcoming , he had a big smile on his face and was dressed very smart , the restaurant was very warm and welcoming whole atmosphere was just really nice , you could definitely see that owners take great pride in what they do , being it was my first time ordering I wasn’t aware you could also sit in which the man recommended to try next time and i would definitely do that ! We spent little under £30 and there was enough food there to feed 2 adults and 3 kids 🥰 10/10 experience , already can’t wait to...
