The Three Pigeons — Restaurant in West Oxfordshire

Without doubt the worst pub I've ever been in. The locals are really cliquey, unfriendly and the service is poor. They just stare at you and look away when you walk in. You can tell they're regulars and all in one big gang who do not welcome outsiders. It's a miserable looking place inside , drab and depressing. Tatty dirty furniture. We brought some friends in here and we were so embarrassed we threw our drinks down and left. I cannot believe anyone at all can post a glowing review of this dump. Its got to be the regulars, because trust me.....any pub loving person would never patronise this awful place. What a pity, its in such a pretty location and could be wonderful. We won't...

Popped in a few times with my kids after spending some time at the park. Popular with local regulars, as some mentioned (not sure why that would be a bad thing!), but we were made to feel very welcome and staff went above and beyond to be particularly kind to my kids, which isn't always a given these days! A hidden gem of a pub. Oldy worldy. Great Ales, bitters and ice cold lagers with usual spirits and wine. The food was amazing, true pub food, served with a smile and very quick too. Very friendly and a great garden which is having a overhaul. Highly recommend especially on one of those "what shall we cook tonight days"? Ample street...
