I feel that this costa has started to go downhill the past 4 months if Iâm honest. Me and my friend go in here every other week however last Friday will be the last time we go. First the young American lady was slumped over the counter yawning her head off while I was giving me order to her not the best start. Then she chucked my fiver and said I havenât got the 4p to give you (my change should have been ÂŁ5.04. We then proceed to sit down waiting for my toastie to be done. When it was she never shouted and walked straight passed it to the table next to us to clean it! Iâm no snob but considering she short change me it would have been nice to bring it over to me. We got no napkins and no straws so yet again had to get up for that. I was going to have a word with the bloke that works in there as I believe he is a manager of some sort. But considering them two are forever laughing and giggling in the corner I felt it would be a waste of time. I wonât be going back there...
   Read moreCame into Costa today and was greeted very nice from a lovely girl at the till a new girl training and could tell she was very nervous. She did very good at pursuading me to buy the last packet of the persey pigs. And offered the extra 25p option for my coffee which I took and it tasted amazing. She was very eager to learn on the hot drinks also. Whilst my time of sitting down for a good hour or so the new girl which I managed to get her name Amy once she also came to my table to ask me was everything okay with my food and drinks. She was mopping the floor where there was a spillage tidying the tables. So she was doing food drinks and serving and making sure the place was clean.    Read moreI recently visited this Costa Coffee with my 14-year-old daughter and was upset by our experience. After a long wait for her order, a Becky, the day lead, responded to my polite inquiry with aggression, which made my daughter uncomfortable. Becky was unkind to the staff and myself as a customer, which made me feel uncomfortable for her colleagues but they said that is just the way she is. Perhaps she would be better away from the customers so as not to create an uncomfortable environment. Despite this, the rest of the staff were excellentâvery polite, apologetic for the delay, and friendly with big smiles. They acknowledged the issue but still seemed to justify their colleagueâs behavior. I hope management addresses these issues to improve...
