So much better in our Costa now they got rid of all them horrible staff they had over lockdown, I was banned from this Costa during lockdown for saying I'd do the phone track and trace at the table not at the till as my disabled daughter was having difficulties standing and we needed to sit her down at a table..... the then server was rude so I was rude back and I was asked to leave and not return.... I've since called Costa head office and the lovely lady assured me I wasn't banned for any Costa cafe and that then particular servers had been removed from their positions due to having done this same thing to a table of elderly ladies that week too so today for the first time I went back in to be served with a beautiful smile from all the servers and baristas and made to feel very very welcome so well done Costa bosses for not letting teenage managers and young servers remain working in their cafe to be rude to customers. Read moreThere has been quite a shift around of staff and most are new. Fairly friendly and the hot drinks are still good quality but how I wish the Baristas could manage the pattern on a flat white) I would question the cleanliness however. I could understand trays/ crockery and tables not being cleaned away if there were a skeleton staff but sadly this has not been the case. The toilets are on another level altogether, they absolutely reeked of urine, the toilet seat was stained, the sink was in need of a scrub and I only went in there to wash my hands before drinking my coffee....
Read moreThe two Baristas working the 7am shift this morning are amazing!!! They've served me before, but it's been a while since I've popped into the Haverhill Branch. Instead I've grabbed incredibly disappointing drinks from various Wild Beans, that have been tepid and inconsistent. These two guys at Costa need a raise! Their customer service is always excellent as well as being fast and efficient. Such professional work ethic is rare, which is why it deserves...
