Upon arrival you are greeted with a promising outside area, a look that only improves when you enter the building, a great job refurbishing the place, with some real thought put in to improve the standards. It's a shame that this is the only thought put into standards, they may as well have left it looking a bit more run down to not get your hopes up. After sitting at the table the menus looked a bit worn but that can be forgiven, some of them had the QR to leave this review some of them did not, but again that's just being picky. Whilst waiting for our meals I witnessed someone complaining about hair in her food, at first I thought she was just being a bit fussy. We were told it might take a bit longer to get our food as the kitchen was hot and they were taking more breaks, this was not the case within about 15 minutes all the food arrived which was made even more impressive considering how burnt it all was, every meat product (aside from the steaks) was crucified and the onion rings too, it gave the impression that the chefs do not care, and no quality control is implemented, the nacho fries topper is that saddest excuse for the term nachos, just a dribble of nacho cheese on some very sad looking fries. When asked if everything was alright in the meal and issues were said the waitress barely did anything left and came back offering a re cook, which seems to be there answer to all the complaints, in the interest of fire safety we thought we wouldn't give the "chef" another opportunity try and burn the place down. The service was okay, but the setup and way it operates lended itself much more to being a pub than a restaurant, and no one seemed to care when things weren't right, also evidenced when staff just walked past a child trying to play the gambling machine unattended. I'm not much of a reviewer but I felt the need to write this as it was such a poor standard. If you want a nice drink on a hot day, or to catch a game of football, or play some darts this looks like the place for you, if you want a nice meal then avoid this place...

First off, let me state that when it comes to the curb appeal, this place is deceptive. From the outside one may be tricked into thinking they are entering an old, historic pub. Once inside, however, one finds themselves inside a place with less appeal than a White Castle (Shout-out the Americans at RAF Mildenhall).
First off, the fact that you can only order drinks and food at the bar or on an app is just weird. If it was to save time I get it but you lost the time you had on taking a calender year getting my food to the table.
Now, comes the food section of my meal. I ordered the Jerk Chicken and Wings. The menu says it's 'new' which should have been my first warning that someone, somewhere down the chain of command left their thinking cap at home. The wings and rice were great, don't get me wrong, but to call the half chicken served to me as quote 'seasoned' is an insult to Walmart pre-cooked chicken. Also, the coleslaw was nowhere to be found.
The manager(not 100% sure if she was the manager so don't hold me to it) gave us a free round of drinks on the house due to our meal being a disaster. Doesn't fully make up our experience but it was a very thoughtful gesture.
I would have made this a 1-star review but I don't want to throw our servers under the rug. This clearly was a cook issue and I don't want the wrong people caught in the crossfire.
One last thing; it takes a lot for me to spend this much time to write a negative review online for something but this needed to be said. I get it. You had trainee cooks in but that doesn't excuse the quality of the food we were served. I hope you can correct this for future patrons since myself and those I was with are only going to be in England for another week and a half. Something definitely needs to...

To be told 'you will be given a spoon with a number on it'.NO MENTION KITCHEN CLOSED OR EVEN CLOSING SOON. Went to the bar to order food , barstaff (Very nice and helpful girl)asked if i was ordering food. I said yes, she said we will have to be quick at the kitchen and last orders were due. Said i need to let the kitchen know asap. Next came shouting in the kitchen 'were not cooking nothing else, tell them they, cant have it!! No you go out and tell the gentleman customer he cant have any food. At 7:43-47pm You will have to have the starters and mains at the same time!!
