Victor Victoria Coffee — Restaurant in West Suffolk

We had been there once before and it was ok. We decided to go and after waiting 20 mins when they said it would be ready in 10 they said it will be out in a minute then we waited 25 mins when it was supposed to be with us 35 mins ago and they said it would be out soon. The after an hour it finally came. Part of it was cold the portions were awful and it was extremely average. Go to The Tack Room instead if you want a good meal. We go there all the time now instead and it’s great much better then Victor Victoria. I was recommended this place by a friend who moved from Cambridge to Newmarket not too long ago, as I was looking to venture a little outside of Cambridge. I’ve since been twice, with further plans to visit again. I had a toastie and soup of the day, and a chocolate brownie topped with golden syrupy cornflakes to go, which was all great. The beetroot latte is the best beetroot latte I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried many). The team are super friendly and attentive, and I’m looking forward to taking advantage of the outdoor seating in summer. An added bonus is that it is dog friendly! Hi guys I left a review for this place while ago and gave them 5 star. Today we went to get coronation chicken toasty takeaway and was very disappointed . After was told it would take 10 mins, 25 mins later, they told me it’s on the plate now. And then they gave that one to a customer who came in and ordered after me ( he ordered same thing) After all that, we got home to eat and realised, it doesn’t have much filling in it at all and wasn’t toasted properly tasted like stale bread. Won’t go there for while as this is the second time their take away...
