We arrived to the restaurant at 8pm for a table at 20:30. Table was ready so we just all sat down after ordering drinks at the bar. The party was for 24 people but they'd only made the table for 22. Once that was sorted, we all sat down and waited on our starters as we had such a large group, we had pre-ordered everything. Took a while for the starters to arrive but couldn't fault my starter which was King Prawns, lovely. Then we waited a while again for our main meals to arrive but again this was probably down to having a large group/party. I had Salmon for my main which got to be honest, my plate looked sad as there wasn't a lot there for £17.00, think I had more on my starter than my main. I also asked for the childrens meals to come out with the starters but they didn't so the kids had to wait. Drinks were ok, didn't really have a price menu for glasses of Prosecco only bottles but they serve it by the glass. Ordered some ice cream for 1 of the children which took over 30 mintues to arrive and I had to ask 3 times for it to be sent over. All in all, I would go back but maybe in a smaller party as I think they'd cope better. 😊

We had Bruschetta pomodoro, Bruschetta Don Alberto's and Pate Don Alberto's which is homemade chicken liver pate with cranberry sauce as starters. They were all very refreshing and the liver pate was really good! I tried Risotto Frutti Di Mare, mixed seafood risotto last time, so this time I tried Ravioli Aragosta, ravioli stuffed with lobster in creamy tomato sauce with prawns, didn't taste much lobster, but the sauce with prawns is outstanding! Linguine Amatriciana, pasta with king prawns with white wine butter sauce, Risotto Frutti Di Mare are my favourite! Highly recommended! Deserts were all sold out, so next time!

Visited for Dinner at around 6:30pm. The place was not too busy. we were seated right in front of the open kitchen. I love watching the chefs putting meals together. Even while they were toiling away, there was a visible passion for the food they were preparing. Our order: Starters: BRUSCHETTA FUNGHI BRUSCHETTA DON ALBERTO’S CALAMARI FRITTI Mains: LINGUINE PESCATORE T-BONE STEAK - WIth Peppercorn sauce on the side, which I did not touch becaue the meat was so flavourful and cooked just the way I like it Medium-Rare. FILETTO ROSSINI Desert & Drinks: Cannoli Tiramisu Lemonade Valpolicella Classico 2021

My wife and I were the and we had: Gamberoni Diavola: exceptional Corneto di Salmone: even a person who is not too fan of smoked salmon will enjoy. For main, we had linguini gamberoni. OMG. Spicy, full of flavour, an excellent tomato sauce, not acid, perfect texture. The small pieces of courgette were amazing, as took me back in time, when my Nona used to make them with sauce. My wife had a pistachio cake and it was just perfect. Going back today, so my daughters can experience this delicious restaurant. I’ll take some photos to post them. Ok, 4th time back and still surprised. This time we had: Melanzane parmigiana, the Cozze Marinara (mussels with a spectacular sauce, Caprese, Pizza Margherita, Gamberoni Provenciale, Lasagne. Let me tell you something, Melanzane parmigiana is something from another world. If you’re not too hungry, this entry can be a main dish. The Cozze Marinara, if you love mussels, OMG, the sauce is perfect, rich, smooth and delicious. Make sure you ask for some bread, you won’t want to leave the extra sauce on the plate. For desert, I must be honest, it’s not the best place. I particularly did not appreciate the Cannoli, as the pastry was too thick, not crunchy and the flavour not the best. Previously, I had a tiramisu and it was nice. But still, the overall rating for this restaurant is 9/10. It is perfect to go with you friends, family or...

So I took my daughter to Don Alberto's in Leigh, first time for her and only my second time. She had the pizza pollo and I had the Lobster Ravioli. Both had two drinks and we shared a cheesecake. Let me just say by far the best meal I have had for a very long time we was the first people in and it slowly started getting busier. The staff were amazing and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. The chefs credit to them know what they are doing by god it was devine, you'd be hard pressed to find better food in my opinion. Awesome atmosphere good music and not too loud. The aesthetic of the restaurant is done perfectly in my opinion. And you can see your food being freshly prepared which makes the experience better. It's an all around thumbs up from me I will definitely be back again. Plus it only cost me just over £38:00 which I rounded up to £40 so very reasonable. Seeing that where we was going to go was £24.99 per person and nowhere near as good for service or food quality as...
