Lizhi — Restaurant in Wigan

Very very disappointed in the service me and my partner received. As a regular customer at this restaurant for both eating in and takeaway I couldn’t be more angry! We went in for a nice relaxed meal on sunday (had the salt and pepper seafood platter) and left, however a couple of hours later me and my partner both began feeling very sick and poorly. We both got struck with severe sickness which went into the early hours of the morning and we both still haven’t been right since. Obviously food poisoning as we both hadn’t eaten the same food apart from at the restaurant. We both still have no appetite and are struggling to keep food down. This should NOT be happening at a so called five star restaurant. We called the restaurant to put in a complaint just to ensure no one else got sick from their food. However we was met with very rude and impolite staff members which shut our complaint down very quickly and kept talking over us on the phone. Appalling customer service for a five star restaurant!! We will 100% not be visiting this place again and not recommending it to any of our friends and family. I have been forced to write this review as obviously the restaurant are not taking it...

Appalling to say the least, after visiting this ‘restaurant’ with my partner I was met with severe stomach ache and projectile vomiting after eating there mixed seafood salt and chilli. I spent the early hours of the next morning hugging my toilet whilst producing a lime green stomach bile. I have now missed 3 days of work due to having no appetite and having no strength to even move out of bed. We are regular customers but this time they got it very WRONG. The way it was dealt with was absolutely shocking, I was met with a very sarcastic and unhelpful woman who had no interest in maintaining a relationship with her customers, I think maybe some training is in order for the front of house staff as her tone and communication skills are terrible and this has forced me to make this review. I was told to get a doctors note to support that I had been poisoned (who in this day and age can get seen by there dr the same day as calling). I will 100% not be recommending this place to anyone that I know, even after spending well over £1000 with them in the past as they are to ignorant and delusional to understand that even THEY can make mistakes, the same as...

Went last night for my birthday meal. We had a table booked for 12 people which we got on time but they only gave us 2 hours for have a 3 course meal with drinks. Might be ok for smaller numbers but not 12. Starters came out at 18:45 and they started cleaning up as soon as you put the last bit of food in your mouth. Main meals however didn't come out till 19:35 so didn't understand the rush. Surprisingly some of the kids where still eating but they brought the bill over. I sent it back and told them we hadn't finished and everyone wanted a desert. We did end up getting a desert for most of the table. They brought the bill over again, by this time it was around 20:25 as the next sitting was waiting for the table. We hadn't even finished our desert or drinks and they started taking them away which I thought was really rude. Maybe next time, extend the table time or pre-order might be the best way.
