Morrisons Café — Restaurant in Wigan

Having been to this cafe in Leigh on numerous occasions things to not seem to improve. I do not order cooked food any more as it takes too long and the quality is not great. There does not appear to be enough staff because on some occasions one person is having to serve and take orders deliver food and attempt to clear and clean tables plus other things. Cutlery trays left empty, no serviettes available , no paper cups for cold drinks ,drink machines on the blink and when brought to the attention of staff it was met with a shrug of the shoulders as if to say what do you want me to do. All in all not great but used as a convenience whilst shopping in Morrisons . Not a patch on the Bridlington North...

Have been regular diners at this cafe as a quick Sunday morning treat but last Sunday it took 1hr 15mims to get very simple food. The young girl bringing the food out needs some serious customer contact training. Maybe next time don't plate up the mash potatoes and leave them under the heat lamp to burn and go crispy. Jacket potato wasn't cooked through and the toppings were so minimal they didn't even taste of anything. Totally gutted as my friend and I need to find another Sunday morning cafe. Cafe manager.... you need to read this review and hopefully...

Never been where there hasn't been a long wait here... also use cafe in the Eccles branch and the gulf in service is unreal between the two! This came to a head the other night when I went before watching the women's football with my daughter. I used the self serve computer and my order went through without my daughter's meal. I asked the lady if she could help and she responded with 'we are open as a favour so if you have a problem sort it yourself!' and walked off... needless to say a customer lost but hey Morrisons are doing so well they don't...
